Tienda de bicicletas Velobur

I visited this store today with a puncture. I received a friendly welcome and the guys at the store got straight on with the job which I was grateful for. My break pads front and rear were also badly worn and there was an excessive amount of play in the head bearings. The guys sorted all this for me in very quick time and at a very competitive price. Unfortunately my Spanish is not very good yet but they were able to converse well in English which was helpful to me today. I'm very happy indeed and would recommend 100% - thanks to all involved

It is a marvelous running and cycling shop. I highly recommend it. I bought a pair of trail shoes and the guy helped me with all sort of questions, even though I went the next day to ask more questions. They've got a high quality products for runners, hikers and cyclers (also for pilgrims). I'm sure I'll buy more sport items there

Got there early to get my bike repaired. Needed to change a derailer cable and a spoke. The guy told me he can do that in 1h (I was in a hurry so I was pretty happy!).
When I came back, he told me that he repaired another cable that was about to snap and I think he gave a quick clean to all my transmission parts.
It wasn't even expensive for all what he did. Thanks again to him !

My partner and me rented a couple of excellent mountain bikes for a section of the camino at Velobur.
Staff were professional and competent. We‘d like to acknowledge Diego‘s availability here. He arranged for us to drop off the bikes before reaching our planned destination of Astorga as we had to change our plans.

This is a great bike Shop with friendly service. I was on a bike tour from Germany to Portugal as my bike broke in Burgos. I quickly explained my problem and they fixed it in 30 minutes. Thanks a lot :)

Diego quickly identified what we wanted/needed for Camino stages and sorted it out. Bikes were perfect. Price was good. Diego gave good advice. No complaints. Information sheet in English would be nice BUT that's a minor issue. My lack of Spanish is the main problem here.
Was the guy with a bad experience at the same shop?

First class service. Could have sold me an oily spray which I asked for, but refused as it would adversely affect the disc brakes. Instead advised on the chain maintenance, sold very good and much cheaper lube which did the job.
Spoke very good English to this non-Spanish speaking camino-cyclist, and gave good advice regarding Spanish trains and carriage of cycles.
The cycling world needs more people and businesses like this!

If you want to rent bikes to cycle the Camino de Santiago from Burgos, Velobur is undoubtedly the best option! The team that works there is incredible. They gave us bikes that were a great fit and went above and beyond to ensure every aspect was customized to our needs. They put our pedals and saddles on, fit our panniers, and even gave us the tools we needed to take everything off when we got to Santiago. We arrived during Holy Week, which meant that their sister bike shop in Santiago was closed. Velobur made arrangements with the grocery store next door to take the bikes from us so we didn't have to worry. The experience was incredible from end-to-end. We will definitely rent from them again!

I hopped in for some brake pads and chain lupe for my mountain bike and then I saw a beautiful store specialised in mountinebikes, (and Santa Cruz!) accessories and clothes. The staff was really, really helpful, professional and friendly. They checked my current brake pads and said it wasn’t nescessay to change them already. They even repaired my handlebar with a costume made piece what I was missing. Great service!! Thank you very much!!

My wife and I were on the camino, and I rolled in here with a bad tire that was wobbling and making my brake rub. The guys working here were very helpful, we had rental bikes and they were willing to call the company and explain to them what the problem was. I bought a new tire and inner tube with slime and they installed them and fixed my brake issue as well while we got a coffee next door. We were very happy with our experience here. Muchas Gracias.

Whilst cycling the Camino, I managed to break three spokes on my Easton rear wheel. I had to limp into Burgos on a wobbly rim as none of the earlier dealers were able to help. The spokes are unique.
Diego and Josemi were very friendly and extremely helpful in fitting replacement spokes and getting me back on the road. Great job. Well worth supporting.

I had a quick stop to buy a cap with a visor for the sun, and get my handlebar tape repaired. The cap was pricey (22E) but they fixed the handlebar tape for free.

Excelente tienda, excelente trato, he comprado una BMC de gravel por la web, los llame para que me dieran atención y me mandaran fotos de la misma a mi teléfono y no tuvieron problemas. La bici llego a tiempo, perfectamente embalada y con todos los accesorios, hubo un problema ya que se les olvidó encintar el manillar, pero antes de que llegara me avisaron y me dieron la opción de lo que lo colocara un profesional de mi zona y luego me abonaban la factura y así fue. Hoy he probado la bici y estaba bien ajustada. Muy recomendable.

Un trato excelente. El sábado acudimos al local poco antes de la hora del cierre por un problema con la bici y nos atendieron y salvaron de una buena. Muy agradecido con el personal.

Gente amable, Íbamos camino a Santiago de Compostela y tuve una curva en la rueda y algunos radios rotos. Después de una hora de trabajo y una rueda nueva y más fuerte pudimos avanzar nuevamente.👌🚴🚴‍♀

Hemos alquilado 23 bicis, para etapas del Camino de Saniago. Por conveniencia nuestra nos recibió un Domingo en su tienda, para la entrega. Mejor servicio no se puede pedir. Nuestro agradecimiento a Diego. Las bicis en perfecto estado. Primeras marcas. Cogimos bicis manuales, con ruedas 29 pulgadas y eléctricas, una de ellas nueva. Lo tenía todo organizado por las tallas que teníamos. Se lo habíamos informado. Te facilita cascos y candados
Decir que no hemos tenido ningún problema mecánico ni pinchazos. Material de calidad, así como todo lo que tiene en la tienda. Nos acompaño en la salida de Burgos, así como todo un tramo. Nos hizo fotos. Nos recogió las bicis en final de etapa del segundo día. Nos hemos quedado encantados. Lo recomiendo por todo lo comentado.
