Impressive views of the canyon. Walking by the edge of the rock is an unforgettable experience. Recommended. The negative is the number of groups talking the hike at the same time, leaving you less time to see the landscape and enjoy the views.

Fantastic hike, spectacular views, worth visiting with family. Just some advice, in summer take a tour in the afternoon, after 4.30 pm therere is much more shade. On hot day - bring minimum 1l water per person, sunscreen and wear a hat.

Amazing trail, most of the 7km is on suspended boardwalk on the rockside and takes about 2 hours to complete.

The trail Caminito del Rey starts from the Norther entrance point, goes along on the right side of the mountain split and ends in the Southern exit point, by crossing a suspension bridge at the very end to the left side.
They provide a helmet and instructions to enter the route.

There are two types of entree fees: general or guided tours. The guided tours are in either Spanish or English.
It is recommended to buy tickets in advance. However, there is a ticket office at this entry point where you can also purchase tickets. We could purchase guided tour tickets onsite on a summer Sunday for the 2pm tour.

There are free entry toilets and a few vending machines for snacks and cold drinks. It is recommended to have 1l of water per person for the trail.

There are busses that go back to the statting point (main road) every 30 minutes and cost 2.5 euros. Tickets can be purchased in the bus station as well.

Fantastic and relatively relaxed hike in Caminito del Ray. Purchase tickets in advance and use the shuttle buses. If you have some time after the hike I recommend going for a swim in the reservoir by the North Entrance.

Very spectacular but completely safe Treck over several breathtaking spots.
To be booked in advance through the official site.
No particular difficulties, but have proper shoes and clothes (this is not a beach)
The treck can be guided from the northern entrance.

Absolutely stunning scenery! The guided tour is approximately 2 hours and the walk is approximately 5-ish km. I have incredibly bad knees but the trail is doable. There are hand rails to assist on most steps up and down.

Be prepared to park and walk to the entrance of the park. There is no parking directly at the park. We parked on an unpaved road leading to the entrance. At the end of the walk you pay ~2 or 3 € to catch bus back to parking locations.

The bus dropped off at three parking locations; the large roundabout, some other parking area, and the restaurant El Kiosko.

We got off at the El Kiosko because our car was parked up over the ridge behind the restaurant. That was the best place to park, in my opinion.

Incredible walk, scenery is jaw dropping. Must see as a tourist. Try to do it in a tour with a guide ideally, otherwise you'll miss a lot of interesting information,

We were driving up through Spain and just came across the Caminito del Ray and lots off people walking up on the height, it looks absolutely amazing, I will have to do that walk some day. The people were wearing hard hats , for a reason.

Very good and unique experience. You defenitely dont need extra expensive booking to enjoy your journey. Simple booking from official website for a guided tour is all you need. The information the guides share are also interesting and good to know.

I absolutely loved coming here. My husband and I visited whilst on holiday and although a bit of a trek the views are well worth it.
