Mirador curva del río

A really cool and sort of “secret” place - there was nobody hiking there when we went. At some point we started hearing cowbells, and before we knew it, there was a sheepherder walking with a huge flock past us. It was amazing to see how fearless these animals were when walking on very unstable ground. A great place to hike to and sit for a picnic!

Beautiful secluded viewpoint. A bit to the side of the main trail, but it's worth taking a turn into this path. Beautiful view of the river bend and the mountains. Be careful because there are no security features!

In general, there are several viewpoints in the area. No matter where you go, it is worth it. Beautiful hiking trails.
