We had a great dinner at La Peniche. Visited in Sept '21 with a group of 7 (3 kids).

Everything we tried was great. Great service and kitchen. The Chef really knew how to cook for a guest with a food allergy (peanuts and treenuts). He had to make a lot of adjustments, but really made that effort.

Wonderful spot to overnight free if you can cope with the early morning traffic At the side of the river and a 200m walk uphill into the pretty town of Perigueux

Great location on the river, delicious food. Insane- huge- desserts that we were too full to sample. A really good place to sit and watch the sun go down while you admire the cathedral and drink a beer. And the staff are just lovely!!! Highly recommended......

Very enjoyable visit tonight. Service is great from waitress.
Food very big portions.
Don't eat before as you need empty stomach...
Food is great too. Bravo.

Lovely place. Wine and tapas very enjoyable. It had a great atmosphere, staff excellent. Definitely go again very soon.
