Chez Manija

It’s a lovely time when we had lunch there. It’s in an ally where is closed to the cathedral. Nice courtyard with shade, very friendly staff who speak English/French (and their mother language for sure!)!
Don’t expect they tasted like what I’ve had in Asia, or U.K., but they are really good 🥰!

Lovely lunch with a friend! The food is not as spicy as you would expect in the UK but nevertheless tasty. good Value set menu's and friendly service make it a nice change/alternative from French food when Visiting Perigeux.

We used to be surrounded by Indian restaurants but here in the Dordogne, they're hard to find, but .... we found one! We had lunch Chez Manija last Saturday and it we loved every bite. Food is Pakistani and brought back many memories. Many vegetarian options and not just a veggie burger or an omelette with chips! If you live in the area, or if you feel like something different during your holidays, the restaurant is a must-go.

So enjoyed our meal here sitting under the beautiful tree in the courtyard. Staff were friendly and efficient. We had the €16 lunchtime menu which was fabulous although not as powerful as Indian restaurants in England can be. Flavours more subtle.

What a surprise to find a proper Indian Restaurant in Perigueux.
It was a brilliant Indian meal, just like it should be. Be careful what wish for, because if you ask for spicy that's exactly what you'll get, full on. The ambiance of the court yard was delightful, the staff were attentive and efficient. We will definitely be going there again.

We visited on a Saturday evening in October. We had not made a reservation, but the staff welcomed us and set up an additional table in the courtyard for us. Service was friendly and relaxed. Good selection of dishes including plenty of choice for the vegetarians in our party. Everything we ate was delicious.

Brilliant service, food and ambiance wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. In the quaint backalleys was an excellent find, I will be visiting again, and I found another in brieve which will check out also, hopefully as good.

Great locations in its own little courtyard. The food was fantastic really fresh and the right amount. Would recommend this Indian to anyone in need of a good masala.

Charming location, great for eating outside. Tasty food, affordable prices, decent portions. Nice service. A lot of dishes are gluten free. Like in most oriental restaurant in France food is served not spicy, so ask the waiter to make it to your liking.

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant, we arrived 10 minutes before the opening time and the waiter kindly sat us at a table. Food was great and the waiter was helpful and spoke good English. Would recommend!

Booked a table for four at lunchtime. Lovely day so were able to sit out in the beautiful courtyard. Staff were very welcoming and courteous throughout. The 'set' menu is somewhat limited but each course had a choice of three dishes, well cooked and presented. Not massive portions but sufficient to send us away comfortably full and happy. Will be going back soon and would recommend Chez Manija very highly. Simple, unprtentious indian food. Try it,

This restaurant is in a perfect setting, in a courtyard, right in the heart of Perigueux. The meal was really good with lots of fresh authentic indian flavours, loved it and it's fairly priced. We will return x

Delicious, spicy but not too much curry. One of the best indian restaurants I've experienced in my life. Definitely worth it. Plus the rose-flavored desserts are exquisite.
