One of my favourite producer from Bourdeaux with Michael Rolland, Marcelo Pelleriti and Henri Parent - big Bourdeaux names:Three Musceters. Château La Violette 2010 got a 100 points from Robert Parker.

THE PURPLE DIAMOND OF POMEROL.
• Château Le Gay with 6.5 Ha,
• Château Montviel 12.6 Ha,
• Manor De Gay 4 Ha
• and La Graviere with 7.5 Ha.
Merlot is the number one in all of them.

The style is famous for a perfection and an elegance. Beautifully structured, silky and opulent. Floral nose. When they are young sour cherries and damsons flavour dominate, with the time of eaging in the bottles get more red fruits characteristic like raspberries and redcurrants packed in the leather gloves, from the deep violete to the red bricks colour. Chocolate and peppermint could be found, too.

La Violette in my ranking its the second after Pétrus.
Best Vintages: 2015, 2009, 2008 and 2010.
For me - Vignobles Pêré-Verge it's like a LVMH of Pomerol.
Gently expensive becouse of a very small yield about 27 Hl/Ha and about 18 000 bottles per year (for La Violette) but worth it.
