Beautiful city and port with a lively atmosphere and stunning period buildings. We were blessed with warm sunny weather (albeit with the occasional light shower) when we visited in July. The Bastille day celebrations were fantastic; swing as well as pop rock bands, followed by a tremendous fireworks display at the port. Definitely worth a visit!

A beautiful area with lovely friendly people. We enjoyed a fantastic week holiday here in a wonderful house. Lovely restaurants/pubs that served extremely excellent food. I highly recommend a visit to The Port of Dinan and I shall definitely be happy to return for another holiday here.

What a fantastic old place. Plenty of walking. Beautiful people. Eclectic mix. Easy access. Music on the streets. Old style architecture. Excellent views. Overall great place to go. I really enjoyed coming here. I'll be back again soon.

Dinan was a such a beautiful walked city in 2 parts: the old walled city and the port. The port is accessed via a steep cobbled street lined with old buildings. The whole place was a joy to explore, especially out of season although it was disappointing not to be able to walk round much of the wall.

Lovely relaxing environment and not overcrowded. Park the quiet side of the river next to the mercure hotel. Much of the year you can hire a boat. Highly recommended. Many eating places.

A very cute waterfront of Dinan! Better to come here by car, because the way back up will be terrible))
There are plenty of cages and bars. Kir Royal for aperitivo is a must with such a view:)

An exelent time here moored in the port. Captain Damien ( port captain ) a great and accomodating guy. Not expensive for the quality of service . Sanitares are ok clean even if a bit dated but good nonetheless . The cafes and restauants are plentifull here . Will visit again sure .

Dinan is a beautiful day trip from St. Malo. We had a great time walking the port and the ramparts in Brittany's best preserved city.

There is very little about dinan that wasn't picture perfect . Lots of reasonably priced restaurants and creperies down by the river make for a lovely atmosphere and the old walled town above is certainly worth an explore

In a downtown there is a port that is also symbol with its viaduct in medieval Brittany's Dinan, visit it by walking through its beautiful streets.

One of our favourite places in Ille et Vilaine, however the disabled parking is very poor with only 3 places on the popular side of the Port !

Amazing! Be sure to find the street that leads away from the water, it's a steep climb but worth it!
