Lovely meal today and good value for the location.

When in Les Eyzies we always make time for a visit here. One reason only, the delicious veal, smothered in a creamy mushroom sauce, on perfectly cooked fresh tagliatelle, but so as not to feel like we have missed out we also get a plate of their crunchy fries to share too! We have been twice this week, just go and try it, and report back on here, scrummy!

Sat outside on the patio and was lovely. Excellent waiter, friendly and knowledgeable. Best wood fired pizza I've ever had (I got the fully loaded one). My wife had a big salad and it too was great.

Read the previous reviews but decided to give it a go anyway. Not disappointed, I had tagliatelle with smoked Trout which was really tasty. My wife had a veggie pizza which again was delicious.

Lots of comments regarding the service but I have to say we thought the service was excellent. Nice touch being offered water for our dog, which we didn’t need but appreciated the offer. We would definitely eat here again and really don’t recognise the negative comments in the reviews.

Fast service, very friendly and well organized, very good pricing, nice portions… my boy ordered a pizza which was okay, the youngest got a children menu and he couldn’t finish it. My wife and I had both the menu for EUR 19.90 (starter: foie gras and toast; main dish: canard confit, French fries and Ratatouille; dessert: cake and coffee) and we both liked it. Restaurant was a nice surprise. Will go there again.

Don’t be confused by the name or the rating! We had an excellent 5-course French meal for €31 each. We were not rushed and just took our time on a beautiful July evening. The wait staff was courteous and helpful bringing extra bread as needed. Each course was delicious and satisfying; not too much food, but enough to feel full at the end of the meal. Wonderful experience!

Texane pizza was lovely. A good resting spot on a day out in the town.

Très bon accueil par le serveur.
Repas perigourdin très bon: le confit ne baigne pas dans le gras comme dans beaucoup de restaurants des alentours.
Les frites délicieuses.
Et sympa le petit verre de Monbazillac avec le foie gras de l'entrée dans un menu à 19.90 euros.
