Hôtel & Spa Les Glycines

Comfortable hotel with lovely garden and many amenities. We stayed here 2 nights while on a bike tour. A hand written note greeted us which is a lovely touch. Service throughout our stay was exceptional. Staff are very attentive, polite, and quick to respond. Restaurant was divine and has an extensive wine cellar. We had 2 dinners here and food was fresh, bursting with flavour, and imaginative (without being gimmicky). Our room was spotless and well equipped. Beds were comfortable with good linens. I would definitely stay here again. Small point to improve would be to add a heavier curtain to block out the outdoor lighting. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you to the wonderful staff 🧡

This was a tremendous hotel and restaurant. The setting is beautiful. It's right outside Les Eyzies de Tayac (a great town to immerse yourself in prehistory). The staff were amazing. We had an exceptional meal there.

Room was clean , comfortable, quiet and nice size. Beds: comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Coffee: best so far on my vacation( the god of coffee blessed them) . Breakfast was wonderful. Everything very fresh. Wish I could have stayed another day..

Absolutely loved our stay here. Used the hotel as a base to explore some of the Dordogne region, as it's very well positioned for visiting places like Sarlat la Canéda.

We stayed in the junior suite with terrace, which was perfect and opens onto the lovely gardens and outdoor pool.

The hotel has some facilities such as an indoor pool, gym equipment, etc... They looked good quality (seemed to all be Techno Gym branded equipment), but we didn't have time to use them as we were out visiting places.

The hotel staff were all incredibly professional and very friendly. They were extremely accommodating regards our dog who stayed with us.

If staying here, I highly recommend eating in the restaurant. The menu was outstanding - every course was a real delight. The waiters were knowledgeable about the menu and answered any and every question we had about the food, the way things were cooked, the ingredients and flavours... Every course was absolutely delicious!

The breakfast was the only minor area which didn't live up to the high standards of every other part of our stay... But it doesn't warrant knocking off one star from this review and Google won't let me give half stars.

We would happily stay here again and would have no hesitations in recommending it to friends and family.

I love food. I travel to try restaurants. I love good attentive service and unique and delicious means in an elegant but relaxes setting and it is all here. Delightful staff, wonderful decor and the restaurant on the terrace - so lovely, peaceful and with a wonderful view down the river. Exceptional delicious and unique offerings anchored in the Pèrigord tradition with local ingredients and supplier but with am modern flair and a great wine list - varied and with all prices ... So if you want a wonderful evening come dine here. I am wondering why they have not been awarded a Michelin Star - but they're "new".

We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing and it was delicious. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the setting outside on the patio beautiful. Will definitely return.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly helpful staff. We did not plan ahead on food so we did not get a reservation in time for the amazing restaurant.

Situated in the idyllic village of Les Eyzies, this hotel has an amazing restaurant - 1862 gastronomic restaurant - where we enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. The food and service were impeccable. After 4 courses we asked to move indoors as it was getting cold on the terrace - the staff were very obliging and made this happen without any fuss. Other diners, who preferred to stay outside were provided with blankets. We charged our car at their Tesla charger during dinner and they allowed us to leave the car there overnight when we decided to enjoy the wine (we didn't stay at the hotel). Highly recommended.

Très bel hôtel et restauration tout autant à la hauteur ! Nous avons dîné le soir au 1802 et ce fut une succession de découvertes avec une très belle qualité d'exécution ! Merci !

Nous avons mangé au restaurant c'est franchement bien. Produits de saison cuisinés avec passion, personnel agréable. Parfait pour une halte dans la ville (l'hôtel à l'air très bien aussi).

Excellent séjour dans ce charmant hôtel ou nous etion venus avec mon mari il y à quelques années. Le personnel est toujours aussi charmant. La chambre agréable, la literie de très bonne qualité et les repas très savoureux.
