Gigg's Irish Pub

Even in France you might long for a cold Guinness. This Irish pub is great very close to Nantes cathedral. The service was great, we got our drinks almost immediately, thanks to Fanni, who is from Hungary, just like us.

Is the quintessential Irish pub in the center square of Nantes, with the Chateaux just on the other side of the Cathedral. Nice views, and easy access on the corner with outdoor seating. It's relatively quiet, because of the circle by around the larger church in the square. Check out the 5 Euro pints starting at 5 pm- Happy Hour, and Sunday brunch.

In front of the cathedral the location makes the pub more beautiful. The people working here are too nice and they speak French as well as English. Very nice beers served here has variety. I do not have idea about the food there is a TV screen to watch the sport and lots of seats bar games also makes this place interesting. Students visit here more on Monday.

Busy bar with great current background music . Still plenty of space even when busy . Great location at the cathedral . Max is a super barman with a friendly word for all . Service was great . Worth a visit . Rachael & Collette Dublin

There is an "Irish Bar" in every major city I'm sure. But everyone knows that a few Irish flags, some quirky memorabilia and the option to buy Guinness does not automatically make an Irish Bar. What makes a bar is the warm welcome and the atmosphere and Gigg's has this in abundance. I have been a few times and I love it. The staff are very friendly and talking to people you don't know is the agreed norm. One time I asked a guy how to get to my hotel and he just said, "I'll drive you there if you like?!"
If you want to drink, eat, chat to people or just chill and watch sport then Gigg's is worth a visit.

If you are on vacation, regardless of where you come from, give try Gigg's. You won't be disappointed, either by the bar staff or the menu. It is one of the real genuine Irish bars in France and reasonable prices.
If you like genuine traditional Irish music, played at a high standard, drop in a their Sunday (midday) session. Just ask for Séan, you won't go wrong.

My favourite bar in Nantes, cool staff, decent beer and a great view of the impressive church. Highly recommend for a few beers and always has the sports on.

The guy that worked here is so hot like he made the experience 1000x times better if someone knows his Insta please write me I need it.

Well I'm not gonna be objective here because this place is my second home in Nantes , if you come to Nantes or lives in it then you must come to this place ,the service , the ambiance , the food , the drinks and finally the location, located in the heart of Nantes against the cathedral , that's a view you will like

Everything perfect except i was disappointed at brunch( not recommend it instead Irish breakfast what looked good)

Very nice environment, great service and good prices. Very nice place to go, and since it is open on Sundays you can go almost whenever you want.
