Brasserie le commerce

The restaurant we meant to go was closed, and looking for an alternative, I found the Brasserie le commerce with Google maps. It was a bit of a drive to get there, but it was all worth it. We have been made very welcome by friendly staff, and in spite of my limited French, we could order an excellent meal. Delicious food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. Thank you so much.

Enjoyed a business dinner at Brasserie le commerce. Extremely welcoming staff, very happy with the hospitality. Then, dishes with a good variety of options and tasty. I suggest the strawberry wine if you like it sweet. It was amazing food experience in general 🤩 The prices are good as well! You should stop by and give it a try!

Wanted a meal mid-afternoon. Was recommended here and they served simple food rather well. Good wine. For two, bill was €57, so good value including bottle of wine. Recommended

Very nice place with affordable prices, big portions and fantastic desserts and main dish (tartar in french style, chopped hard but beautiful taste). Work a full day. You will smoke in terrace.

Above average French brasserie. Wonderful salads and fantastic quality minced beef. Lovely atmosphere and staff. They make a delicious sangria blanche too.

Great place for good value typical food and great service. We hadn’t booked anywhere and ended up finding a space here on a busy Saturday evening and we’re very surprised! Big portions and fast, effective service

On way to ferry and soooo many places not open until 19.00 until I googled this gem. Lovely, helpful staff, super fast and very tasty meal. Highly recommend this central spot.

Tried out this eaterie after getting back from a WW2 bus tour. Menu was in both French and English and the staff humoured our bad attempt at speaking French. The food was delicious and the price very reasonable. Will definitely visit again on my next trip

Great simple French cafe. Everywhere was shut by 10:30 p.m. so this was a godsend after sailing across the channel. Excellent prices compared to the UK!
