Les Prés Gaillardou

A new great local find! This is a classic french restaurant, and we were surrounded by locals. Olivier and Carlyse are a lovely couple. From beginning to end, entre to plat, we enjoyed every minute. A must go!

Excellent dinner - “perfect egg” for starter, we got steak and confit duck for the main, and then wonderful desserts to finish the meal. Kind service and perfect place for a meal outside of Sarlat. Great food without a stuffy atmosphere!

A small pleasant room with a welcoming staff. The fireworks start when the dishes begin to arrive. The food is inventive, deeply flavorful, and immensely satisfying.
The chef has a relaxed, and profoundly confident style. She (yes, she), doesn’t seem driven to impress, but instead, let’s the flavors themselves speak. Presentations are gentle, without ego or ostentation.
Go eat here. You will be planning a repeat visit before dessert is finished…

A very enjoyable lunch with friendly service by (I presume) one of the owners. The menus were interesting and food well presented. Thank you. Just be aware that while the website offers a reservation option, this does not work and you will need to phone to reserve a table.

Marvelous ! If you need a smart place to have lunch, just go ! Foie gras "maison" is just tasty as hell and the duck is so good here !

Nous avons dîné dans le jardin sur la très jolie terrasse. La cuisine est tout simplement bonne. Raffinée et des bonnes proportions. C'est bien assaisonné vraiment je dirai que le dîner était un très bon équilibre. Tout est fait maison cela se voit et se ressent en bouche. La truite fondante et très très bonne, le moelleux noisette chocolat tout juste sortit du four à tomber. Un très bon dîner. Merci au personnel très aimable

Nous avons diné en terrasse (2 adultes, 2 enfants). L'accueil a été simple et agréable et le service l'a été tout autant, le patron prend le temps de discuter avec sa clientèle.
Les plats sont savoureux, vraiment faits maison (et ça fait plaisir). Une récompense spéciale pour le moelleux noisette/chocolat en dessert qui est tout simplement délicieux. Adresse à recommander chaudement.
