Logis Hôtel du Château

A good hotel in a great location. Our room had a view of the Chateau.
Staff were really friendly and allowed us to put our motorbike in the garage underneath the hotel.
We ate in the restaurant and had a great meal, with lovely waiting staff who were smiling and obviously enjoying the job.

This hotel for location and views is amazing. The rooms are cosy, very clean, and have everything you need.

The staff were amazing, very friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area.

The restaurant was delicious, and the buffet breakfast was fantastic.

We stayed a week in this beautifully situated hotel. All was well kept, clean and comfortable, as you would expect. Over and above this, the staff and management were delightful. Without fail all were very polite, respectful, friendly and patient; especially when listening to my bad French! I am learning the language and so I wanted to practice. The village is utterly charming and the surrounding countryside whilst flat is very open and beautiful. The flowers in the village and the countryside enchanted us. It was May.

Whoops! I forgot to tell you about the amazing food! Breakfast is way more than a croissant. There is a very wide selection of food along with hot drinks served to the table. Dinner is incredible! Arrive with a big appetite and enjoy!

I'm submitting this as a review for the restaurant as I've never stayed as a hotel guest. I've eaten here around 5 times over the past 4 years and each time I've found the food and staff to be excellent. This is one of the best restaurants in Josselin and I recommend it both on grounds of quality of the food and value for money. If you can get a seat by the window then there is of course the added bonus of one of the best views of the Chateau and the canal. Thank you Hotel Restaurant Du Chateau for many lovely meals.

The food has changed from being bland and boring at my first visit (2015) to today (May 2019) being sensational! Well done. Great value. Lovely staff. Beats anything in the old square of Josselin by kilometres . (Table d'Or excepted).

A really great place to have a short stay. It has a medieval setting perfect for the beautiful location that is Josselin. Well worth a visit.

Ate at the restaurant. Lived in France and visiting France for years. One of the best meals I have ever enjoyed. Relaxed, professional staff and the boss was a gentleman.
