Sat at the side of the river with shade from the sun eating a lovely ice cream whilst watching all of the crazy people swimming in the river. Lovely spot visiting again. After a few years break.

Such a nice place to have a drink on the extended terrace across the road, or to drink/eat on the main terrace or inside. Nice and friendly staff (French, English speaking), good food, not expensive and a nice spot in one of the most beautiful villages in France!

Great name for a bar/restaurant: The Safety Chain! This is our favourite place in the Perigord: situated in Limeuil and overlooking the place where the beautiful River Dordogne is joined by its tributary the Vezere. You can sit out and enjoy coffee, drinks and a wide selection of cocktails served by the wonderful and very attentive staff. Pet friendly. In season the restaurant is superb, serving many regional and other dishes. Don't miss it!

We come back here year in year out as it is such a great location, and a classic French cafe experience. Even in high summer with huge crowds the service is always fast and friendly.

Good quality food at a reasonable price with a nice outlook. Filled up by 12.20 but service was good. We had the Quiche and the Leek tart and was surprised by the quality and quantity. Highly recommend

We have eaten here many times just stopped for a beer very quiet out of season.In August it can be be difficult to get a table, food very good , service with a smile even with my poor French.

Fab lunch. Great view. We're big fans of this place (especially for an aperitif or two!).

Rapport qualité / prix : Correct. 47 euros pour 2 cocas zéro + 1 friture + 1 petite salade perigourdine + 1 omelette aux cèpes (bien garnie et moelleuse) + 2 cafés.

En résumé, une très bonne brasserie correcte dans laquelle nous avons pris plaisir à manger et dans laquelle nous reviendrions si nous revenons dans le secteur.

J'habite le Bugue... donc à 6kms. Nous y allons régulièrement. Un accueil familial. Une cuisine familiale. Bref nous nous y sentons très bien. Un cadre exceptionnel. Si vous souhaitez un moment de détente au bord de l'eau avec panorama magnifique... n'hésitez pas.

Nous avons très bien mangé dans un super beau cadre, rapide et efficace.👍

Arrivés sans réservation, nous avons pu prendre un verre en terrasse le long de la Dordogne omle temps qu'une table se libère.
Accueil sympathique et menus de qualité en belle quantité.
Parfait pour passer un bon moment.
