Café Penché

One of the best cafés in Nantes. I went there twice; their cappuccino is a must. I combined my coffee with a carrot cake which was tasty and fluffy. Very warm and friendly staff (they speak english if needed). Great organised and decorated space; it also shares its space with KiloShop (the shop next door) so you can browse some second hand clothes while drinking your coffee. I totally recommend it!

Great little specialty coffee shop. They've got a good range of drinks at a pretty standard price, always tasty with a kind and attentive staff.
There are always various cakes for sale too, I have only had the gâteau Nantais Which was delicious, so I'm sure the others will be great too.
It's in a perfect location with an easy access for take-away drinks, or a nice environment inside to sit, there is also Terrace seating.

The coffee is amazing. Very good beans and different coffee specialities such as flat white, v60, cold brews and iced coffees. Nice atmosphere to have a relaxed break.

First time here and some random lady asked me to move to a worse table because she wanted to sit there... The waiter translated what she said but it was a very entitled thing to request of a foreign visitor. "No way" was my answer. He asked me if I was eating lunch and I said yes, but what if I said no? Was I going to get kicked out?
Lucky that the flat white was amazing, oat milk was excellent, and food was 10/10. Barista was very skilled. "Lait d'avoine" good vocabulary. There is wifi , but are no plugs to charge phones so bring your battery pack. For that reason it gets 4.75 stars

Very cute coffee shop with excellent coffee and hot chocolate. I haven’t tried the cakes yet but they do look delicious! Also enjoyed the secondhand clothes shop it is connected to.

Great coffee shop! The place to have a great cup of coffee and coffee shop experience. Quality and delicious coffee, attentive and sincere staff, great barista. Curated coffee selection just ask what you like and Barista will take care of you. Will come back.

The best coffee in Nantes! And very kind staff. The Nantais cake also excellent. Very fair prices. Judging from their cups, the coffee itself is from Cotume.

Le café penché (CP) est un petit coffeeshop idéalement situé en plein centre historique de Nantes.
Il sert des cafés de spécialité torréfiés par le torréfacteur parisien Coutume.
Il propose des slow coeffe en V60 à un prix très raisonnable.
Le café du jour, en V60, a été un Colombien sympathique fruité et parfumé comme on les aiment, de plus extrait correctement par le barista, un vrai régal.
Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique.
Le lieu est chaleureux et l'ambiance est amicale quasi familiale.
Je recommande vivement ce Coffeshop à tous les amateurs de bons cafés de spécialité
