It’s wonderful hotel imbued with the spirit of Provence and real 5-star service. I have not met such polite and responsive staff for a long time. The aesthetics of the hotel are captivating and you don’t want to say goodbye to it.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful hotel with lovely terrace and gardens. We stayed for five nights and didn't want to leave. Staff very professional and friendly, rooms clean. Short walk into Villeneuve for dinners and shopping.

A truly marvelous hotel, the setting is magnificent with the most beautiful garden to relax in. Service was second to none by all of the staff with exceptional attention to detail. We would definitely stay there again. A magnificent hotel close to a beautiful village centre, yet far enough away to be in quiet paradise!

This hotel is a little slice of paradise located in the charming village of Villeneuve. The city center is only a 10 minute walk, and has several nice épiceries and shops. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet (herbal fruit salad, bread and pastries, fresh cheese and yogurts, jams and honey, variety of juices and coffee, and an "English" selection of eggs, meats...) every morning on the terrace. The whole hotel has beautiful and rustic Mediterranean decor. Our room had a spacious patio complete with lounge chairs-- bring mosquito spray in summer! Garden and pool were also charming and relaxing. My only area for improvement is that the bed/pillows are not so comfortable, but we slept fine. Also you must uber/taxi if coming from the train station.

I don't normally review on here, but felt I had to due to the 1 star review, which I wholeheartedly disagree with.

We chose this hotel as we simply wanted a break from reality for a week. We wanted somewhere relaxing and quiet. We chose perfectly.
From start to finish, our break was wonderful.

We chose a room with a balcony. Would highly recommend this.
Our biggest issue with the room is the lack of Fridge. The cleaning staff went over the top on one day. We had a plastic bag with treats (for our journey). They took this bag, thinking it was rubbish. We got it back, but if you have a tenancy to bring your own food, hide it away.

Generally, the sort of person who stays in this hotel is the sort of person who likes to travel around the region. We noted a lot of people liked to cycle. This (for us) was perfect as the entire week we were here, we had the pool to ourselves.

The Hotel is small, so no room is too far from the pool. Due to being near the top of a hill, the pool benefited from sun from the morning until around 6pm.

The setting of the hotel is beautiful. The outdoor garden area is stunning to sit in, day or night.

The breakfast was, as expected, wonderful. As the holiday progressed, the eggs at breakfast got slightly worse. From scrambled to "gloopy". I asked a waitress for some more cooked scrambled eggs... "of course" was the answer and they were brought to the table! The service was wonderful and nothing was ever too much.

This was the same for the reception staff. All of them were always helpful. Whether it was directions into town and recommendations for a restaurant, to booking a taxi for us.

Some reviews say the hotel is situated at the top of a HUGE hill. I agree that it's at the top of a hill, but it's far from steep.

The hotel is around 10-15 mins (MAX, depending how fast/slow you walk) from the centre of Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Here there are loads of restaurants and a few shops. There's also a convenience shop to get snacks / food (remember, no fridge in the room).

The hotel is approx €20 from the central Avignon train station. There are also buses daily that go from Villeneuve-les-Avignon to Avignon central. These do stop at around 9pm, so you may need a taxi home from Avignon, but this was also around €20. If you don't want to go into Avignon, there are plenty of restaurants in Villeneuve-les-Avignon to go to.

There is a set menu every night in the hotel; we didn't try this as compare to the town, it was quite expensive. There was also an à la carte menu, but we didn't try this.

Did we enjoy our time? YES
Would we come back? YES

Hôtel de charme avec des chambres spacieuses et très bien décorées ! Un très beau jardin qui doit être très agréable l'été. Petit déjeuner simple mais de qualité et un personnel très sympathique et d'une grande gentillesse. Mention spéciale à Pauline pour son accueil.

Très bon moment dans cet hôtel pour notre week-end anniversaire.
Nous avons pu en profiter grâce à une smartbox.
Accueil très chaleureux, attention particulière pour mon anniversaire qui m'a beaucoup touché, chambre très belle, literie de très bonne qualité, parc magnifique et petit déjeuner copieux et varié.
Nous reviendrons!

Je suis ravie d'avoir choisi ce lieu pour notre petit séminaire d'entreprise 2024, le lieu est plein de charme! je donne 5 étoiles pour le personnel, la cuisine est délicieuse, le jardin très agréable et les chambres spacieuses et avec une petite attention à notre arrivée qui nous rend unique !

Cet hôtel a une histoire pour mieux comprendre ce lieu. Vous vous sentez apaisé par le calme que vous procure le parc. Belle chambre avec une bonne literie, la propreté est irréprochable. Personnel très accueillant Un hôtel où vous pouvez revenir avec plaisir à une autre saison...
Ce deuxième séjour s'est déroulé dans les mêmes conditions. La réception a été très cordiale. Merci à Pauline pour son professionnalisme et sa gaité. Le personnel est tout aussi gracieux et prêt à vous rendre service. Nous pensons à revenir dans l'été pour profiter du parc et des cigales ! Chambre toujours aussi propre et bien décorée.

Tout est parfait, de l'emplacement calme et arboré aux chambres spacieuses et agréables en passant par le restaurant simple mais bon avec des produits naturels et surtout à des prix très bas. Pour résumer un super séjour

De passage dans la région je me suis arrêté 2 fois en 2 semaines.
Accueil très agréable. Propreté des chambres exemplaires.personnel au petit soin possibilité de prendre son petit déjeuner très tôt le matin.étant toujours a la recherche d’hôtel un peu a part, a un prix abordable...je recommande

Nous avons pris un petit déjeuner à l'hôtel dans un cadre idyllique avec des produits de grandes qualités. Un personnel très serviable. Dans une bâtisse provençale à l'ambiance chaleureuse.

Venue pour un séminaire, nous avons rencontré un service au top avec un personnel tellement gentil et prévenant ! Les chambres sont très agreables avec beaucoup de charme
