Camping Vauban - Onlycamp

We enjoyed camping here as part of our cycle tour along the Rhine. This campsite is brilliantly set up for cycle tourers. We enjoyed the deck area and small pizza cafe - a very calm and cheerful place to sit.

We are cycle touring with two small children. This campsite was great: a dedicated cyclists' field and a small room available with plugs, sofa, fridge and microwave. Unrestricted showers which were good pressure and hot, rack over a radiator in the shower block to dry one or two items of clothing, benches outside to cook at, playground and very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

You can see, that there is a lot going on there. They have beautifully grown little secured places for tents and smaller Campers but as well larger fields for Caravans and mobile homes. A lot of fruit trees are growing inbetween. A nice playground for children and a little foodtruck. You can order fresh bakery stuff for breakfast and they have a tiny shop with mostly local products. The new (?) Crew is building tree tents that look beautiful as well they are renovating the old sanitary houses. A lot in progress and I am sure it will be even more beautiful when it is all finished. We would loved to stay longer!

Lovely little campsite. I was there last weekend during a bike tour. The place incl. the sanitary rooms is clean, the staff is very nice, Sunday it was possible to order croissants, poc and baguette. There is also a litte room (I think for bikers only) with chairs, a table, a microwave and the pissibility to charge your electronic devices. Highly recommend this place.

I just wanted to stay for the night, yet this camping is so ideal, I would love to take it with me.
Very generous spaces, each tent pitch is like a private clearing in a forest.
More toilet houses spread all over the place than anywhere else. Clean.
A common room to charge your stuff for free. Toaster, got water and microwave for free use.
All this comes for a ridiculous price.
The manager is a friendly chilled dude, who has an awesome dog.

This is a really nice camping with good location to both Alsace and attractions like Europa-Park.
Toilets and showers are clean and fresh and large nice pitches to choose from.
Very friendly and helpful staff.

I can really recommend this camping to others

We came there because all campsites in the german area were fully booked. Luckily, because we found this gem! So quiet, so green, there is sun and shade on each place, you have the feeling you are all alone because the places are big and with green hedges. Facilities are basic but very clean and all one needs. We absolutely loved this place.
Be sure also to visit the little village, it is well worth a walk!

You must stay here. We are 4 weeks into a cycle tour and this is the first campsite that actually offers something for people in tents!

You get a special room with a FRIDGE(!!) so you can actually buy something for breakfast. A locked room to charge your electronics. The campsites are spacious and have hedges/bushes between. They sell wine and give you a small jar of pretzels to enjoy it with. And there is various seating around the place. We cannot recommend this place highly enough !! All for €13..

Magnifique

An ideal spot for cycle tourists. You get your own area for camping, a cooking area under cover, use of a fridge and microwave and recharging. Very friendly staff. Clean facilities. Even a bike repair station. Decent price too and the old town is well worth a visit. A great stop between Strasbourg and Basel.

Reasonably priced for most travellers. We hired a little hut like pod which was warm, had a fridge, micro-wave, and a good bed. The shared amenities were good and kept clean. The family owners were friendly, helpful and stocked essentials in their little store. This is ideal for touring cyclists being not far off the Eurovelo 15 path.

We stayed there one night. Alda and Roland were friendly and helpful. The camping area looks very well taken care, with lots of trees, flowers and bushes, which give privacy and allow some relaxing moments to every camper. It's an excellent choice for bicycle travelers, since they have special located areas for them, with refrigerator, microwave, tables, chairs, electricity, etc. We found all the facilities (shower, toilets) in excellent conditions.

The staff is very friendly. The location is great. There was enough space to give us privacy. We can highly recommend this campground!

If you are a touring cyclist you will love this place. Has an area just for bikes that is beautiful. Facilities were very clean. Free wifi that actually worked well. Had a bike repair station. Even the guy who helped us tours himself by bike. They also have great pricing as well. Everything we wanted. Not sure about the other accommodations but they looked cool.

It was the best camping out of those, which I saw during the last two weeks while travelling from Basel to Paris with a bike. It is compact and comfortable, has everything that a bike traveller needs. Staff is ftiendly, they gave us an amazing advice where to go to eat on our way. It was just s perfect stay. Thank you!

Highly recommend!!! Alhough this camping has only 2 stars It was suprisingly beautiful and quiet place!
We stayed in a tent and the place looked like a garden with a little pond and bushes behind which you could have a bit privacy if you wanted.
We have a 2 year old son and the playground was also very nice. He could spent there hours if only we let him.
The bathrooms were very clean modern, with hot water and not crowded. I guess there must be a plenty of them in the other parts of the camping. I also noticed brand new modern washing machine.
In case of rain there was enough room to sit down and eat under the roof. They even offer free WiFi (I did not expect it after 2 stars camping) and we could order fresh baguettes for the breakfast.

Great stop on a bike trip!

We had an amazing stay here. One of our tires was flat and we got help and could even buy a new one. They have an area extra for bikers and a small workshop. There is a large tent with benches, a fridge,... In the morning we werde able to buy Baguette or Croissant.
Definitly recommended!

Excellent experience here, they offered a fridge, microwave and charging station for cyclists. The plots are really well set out with tables and chairs and even a clothesline. They sell snacks, beer and wine at the reception, fantastic for cyclists.

Large pitches, clean sanitary and washing up areas. Friendly and efficient managers. Pretty site with trees and flowering shrubs. 5 minute walk to town with restaurants.
