Lovely place for rock climbing and to have a picnic Lovely walks around this area.

Great place,perfect for climbing. Also there is a walk near by which is nice. My daughter loved it. If you are into climbing this is the place for you.

Actually, there wasn't many people about except for some climbers and some young boys using the cycle circuit that was there..man made by them I think, but a lovely quiet area to have a picnic and safe for young children to be free and run wild. Also for dog lovers , which we are. Watching those people climb made my legs wobble...respect!! Beautiful in all seasons..

Great dramatic place to explore. Geology is very interesting, as is the history and the natural elements. Can watch climbers clambering. Fossils common on the rocks. Some useful info boards. Easy place to walk round and several good linking footpaths.

Great climbing at this quarry. You can see ancient shell fish in the rock. An altogether nice place to climb in Lancishire

Great place to take kids - age 3 and up. Can take bikes if you want, plenty of space

Beautiful place, lots of butterflies, bees and birds, great walks and interesting to watch the rock climbers in the quarry

Enjoyable walk with the dogs, many different paths to go from the top of the quarry. Good for bird watching for pleasure too.
