Hotel Plas Hyfryd

Been here for functions and for afternoon tea. The food has always been delicious and beautifully presented. Stayed here on our last visit and the room was beautiful, with stylish decor and a comfortable bed. Good choice of breakfast options. Staff are friendly and efficient. Very conveniently located for a walk around Narberth.

Fantastic venue would have been so nice in good weather as it has a lovely outdoor seating area. Well worth hiring out rooms here for any type of function. Our reason was for a funeral and it was just perfect. Catering was great and everyone had the best time.

We had a wonderful Rotary event at Plas Hyfryd yesterday in the function suite which looked fabulous. The food was exceptional. The service and staff were also brilliant.
Emma and the staff's attention to detail meant we all had a wonderful day despite some guests being stuck in traffic at Carmarthen.
They kept the food hot and then we resumed our celebration day. Nothing was too much trouble.
Had to show you our trio of sweets - they were delicious.

Attended a wedding at the Plas on Sat 9th Dec, the venue was absolutely brilliant, the staff were magnificent and the food was second to none, breakfast this morning was phenomenal [the bacon was sensational] thank you Plas for a memorable day and night, i would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be staying here again.

The Hotel Plas Hyfryd is the jewel in the Welsh countryside. Located in the beautiful and fascinating town of Narbeth, the hotel is staffed by the most welcoming and helpful staff.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the food is first class.
Their prices are so much less than they deserve for what is effectively a 4 Star venue.
We found you by accident but will return if the opportunity arises.

Stayed a couple of times and always had warm, friendly service. Rooms are comfortable, food is great quality. Location is easily accessible.

curry could be made vegetarian and the chef cooked us a wonderful cauliflower curry, great service and staff. Very pleasurable stay, thank you!

Was a guest at a wedding here very recently. It was the first time I had been to "The Plas" for quite a number of years.
What did I think of it...
Wedding was great! I believe in a large part that was down to the unassuming nature of the Plas. I don't think it's trying to be anything else than what it is; a decent, tidy & respected hotel. It is more upmarket than some and less than others.
I can't very well comment on the value for money side of things, other than the price of a beer & cocktail raised the eyebrows slightly. (£5 for a beer & £9.50 for a cocktail) but then it was a wedding and no doubt there's inflationary pressures at present.

The food (wedding breakfast) was good, I'm not saying it was fantastic, but it was good with plenty on the plate and enough in the side dishes for everyone. Far better than other places. I'm told the chicken breast is better than the beef. Unfortunately I can't confirm this as I chose the beef.

The decor is probably getting slightly dated in areas with a spruce up needed, but on the whole perfectly acceptable and was dressed well for the wedding. The outside areas are not huge, predominantly a patio, gazebo area with tables and seating but a nice touch with gas fires in the tables.

The staff were always pleasant and helpful, with plenty of them! Which makes a big difference in service. Too little staff can cause many issues, so glad to not see that here.

If you are looking for a place to just have a nice time in a relaxed environment you could do much worse than The Plas.

Plas Hyfred is a perfect place for afternoon coffee with cake. The staff were wonderful to myself and my mum. Nothing was too much trouble and the coffee and cake were gorgeous.
We also visit for lunch and have had afternoon tea. Give it a try.

The hotel hosted my daughters wedding last weekend.

It was a memorable occasion from start to finish and I cannot fault any aspect of the team or the venue.
The food was amazing – the service was seamless and superb and I can wholeheartedly recommend this venue.

We had exclusive use of the hotel and took over every room for two nights.

There was no complaints from anyone – we all had a wonderful time thanks to everybody there.

What a wonderful time I had at Plashyfryd recently at my surprise birthday party. The food was delicious and afternoon tea to die for, but it was the attention to detail that made it special, guests having dietary needs taken care of, the staff being attentive and kind nothing to much trouble. It really was wonderful afternoon, a treasured memory that I will hold dear for many years to come thank you so much.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 5 nights and have been really impressed by everything: location, room, food, and service! We stayed in a suite - well worth the upgrade as we had loads of space, including a separate lounge area and an outdoor rooftop terrace. The hotel is so stylish - loved the dining room and bar area - so cozy and really great decor. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and did social distancing perfectly. The staff were all great - friendly and efficient. The service was excellent all round. We were so impressed with the food - we ate at several highly rated restaurants during our stay, but the Plas restaurant was definitely our favourite. Fantastic choice for breakfast and dinner. Loved the nibbles menu! The outside tables with fire pits are a great idea - we sat out every evening for a drink whatever the weather. Can’t fault this hotel!

We had our wedding at Plas Hyfryd on Saturday 6th August 2022. We had a wonderful day. The food was fantastic, canapés, afternoon tea and the buffet was all beautiful. All our guests commented about the food and how tasty it was. The service was amazing throughout the whole weekend, it was perfect . Bethan went above & beyond answering all the questions we had when planning our wedding and replying to all the emails I sent, she was so helpful with everything. Spot on! from start to finish. Room was clean and modern, I had a selection of Tapas from the bar menu in the evening and to my surprise it was probably the best tapas I've eaten, and a nice cold pint to finish. Customer service was exceptional and genuine. Thank you
