I had a lovely stay. Room was big and clean. They are dog friendly so we were able to enjoy the stay with our beloved dog. Hotel staff were friendly, accomading and very helpful. They let us leave our luggage after we checked out because we had a few hours before our train. I would book again at this hotel. We had a beautiful view of the sea from our hotel window.

We have enjoyed a few drinks here, as well as a few pots of tea. A nice view of the sea as well as indoor and outdoor seating.
Very handy as it's open for long hours so nice to get a break from the wind and have a sit down. Staff are very friendly

I booked this hotel even after reading the bad reviews.
Everyone’s expectations are different but I had a fantastic stay here. Amazing view. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and it was clean and it was tidy.
People need to remember this is an old building so don’t expect all modern interiors/decor etc but with that said we did see that one room was in the process of being fully redecorated.
This building has lots of character and I would certainly stay here again.

This is one fantastic hotel with its location and views from the bar dining room and our spacious and spotlessly clean room as was the hotel throughout. Food was plentiful and delicious. All the staff welcoming and done with efficiency. Dogs were welcome which is noted for us to come again with our own two.
As was the wider area of tenby. In short the imperial hotel tenby is an absolute credit to tenby and south west wales area.thank you.

From arriving at the hotel to checking out, every member of staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The barman was a good laugh and each member of staff gave us a delve into the history of the area. Views from the hotel are up there with some of the best I've ever seen. Very peaceful place. The rooms were very large and clean. Would highly recommend staying here not just for views but professionalism of the staff.

Visited during the Tenby Blues Festival as they were a participating venue, so didn't actually stay. The Hotel is beautiful tho, with incredible views! The staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating during the festival. Brilliant themed menu on the day. Great selection behind the bar too. A great part to a fantastic weekend as a whole

As most comments say the Hotel will be glad of having much needed updating.
Hopefully the update and decor will be sympathetic to the era of the hotel and bring it back to it's glory.
We have just had a wonderful two days for special occasion..The view was spectacular and the sound of the waves ...so relaxing.
Breakfast was absolutely fabulous..couldn't have wanted more and the staff were lovely.
Bathroom quite small but okay. Room was huge ..view spectacular but needed updating all round...look forward to staying again hopefully rooms and corridors have paint and more attention to detail with decor .

Very nice hotel really polite and friendly staff, the room was massive and spotlessly clean with amazing views of the sea (room 30) the prices In the bar were actually cheaper than the bars in the town, highly recommended hotel in my opinion and I'd definitely go back again, very pleasant experience

Brilliant stay this past weekend here. 4 of us stayed plus 1 toddler and 1 dog. Customer service was perfect. We felt so welcomed on arrival and every time we passed through reception. It’s clear the hotel is a bit dated but it was spotless. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Booked 2 nights here on a groupon deal , lovely clean room and staff were very friendly , buffet breakfast was fab ( apart from no mushrooms or tomatoes ). Superb evening meal , the hotel was being renovated , but this did not affect stay in any way . Look forward to going back in summer when we can use the Terrace lounge

Ok, I have read other reviews, here is my take. Loving it.
Food is great, lots of choice. Location is fab, multi choice 3 course evening meal, help yourself buffet breakfast, no limits! staff are great! Beer is cold, thank you Martin(i) and bar staff.
Basic room, a bit warm but we arrived with a couple of fans so no worries! Slept well.
Not wheel chair friendly!!! Mad maze to get to the room, but there is a lift.
Due to renovation to the outside of the building, scaffolding is up.spoils nothing.
Cheapest parking is a couple of minutes walk along the promenade, 72 hrs is £20.
Slightly closer ...I mean slightly, is £10 per 24 hrs.
Family and dog friendly.
Would I stay again? 100% YES.

We had some issues with the room heating and reception staff tried to resolve the problem with maintenance but who were unable to resolve it immediately due to lack of spares. We were then upgraded to a premier room with seaviews! The reception and dining room/kitchen staff were excellent under difficult conditions due to staff shortages. The food was excellent.
One could nit pick pick about some of the decor inside and out but it is due for a major refurbishment very soon. Overall excellent value for money and will definitely return.
