Saltern Holiday Park

We've just had 9nights at saltern holiday park, what a lovely little site, its dog friendly, less than 10 minutes walk to the sea front or a free bus out side the site every 15 minutes, very easy to book by ringing the site and they are very helpful even ringing me up a few days before we went to make sure what we needed to take with us and what's included in the caravan, no club on site who needs one when only a few minutes walk from the town center, please give this site a try you wont regret it. Ps. Temby is such a lovely seaside town with picture postcard views. Michael Brittan.

It was a caravan park with approximately 55 static caravan and some allowed dogs, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but some in our party that had separate caravan did not sleep well because of how close we were to the roads and parking, I slept well 😀

Have been visiting tenby for over 30 years and have stayed in saltern caravan park on many occasions. The park is always clean and staff are always polite and helpful and go out of there way to help. Perfect location for visiting tenby and surrounding areas .

Another fantastic holiday
Have just arrived home from a family 10 day holiday here at Saltern. As always fantastic from start to finish, we did have 2 issues which were dealt with professionally and straight away! Even dealt with by the General manager. Love this place and nothing is ever too much trouble! Time goes too quick that’s the problem!!

Can’t understand why other people have given bad reviews. Must just be people who complain about anything. Even if they stayed in 7 star accommodation they would complain about something.. Get a life I say and let your hair down!!

Hoping to return again in 2023 with the family! Thank you Saltern. Thanks also to Jenna,Rachel, Katie and all the team. Keep up the good work and see you next year..

Who’s knows if I have 6 numbers on the lottery we’ll have our own caravan there!

Stayed at Saltern for 6nights from the 4th July 2022.staff in reception made us very welcome and gave us all the information we required for our stay. Caravan was compact and cozy and clean.
It's a short walk from the site into the town Uphill, but when in town there are many bars and restaurants serving food reasonably priced and very tasty and ample portions.
Please be aware that whilst your on the beach the sun is constantly on you so your liable to get sunburnt if you don't take precautions.
We will return to Saltern caravan park again as it was great value for the money.

Another enjoyable stay at Saltern Holiday Park, good site very clean and tidy staff friendly nothing too much trouble we stayed in a pet caravan spotlessly clean had everything we needed the site is in a good location no club on site, nice and quiet, easy walk into Tenby town takes about ten minutes lovely clean beaches a lot of cafes, pubs, shops dog friendly would recommend Saltern caravan park will definitely be going back as we have been holidaying at the park a number of years now.

Small quiet caravan park a stone's throw from Tenby town and beaches. Clean, bright and airy caravans furnished with all mod cons. All we needed for our stay in Tenby. Staff polite, friendly and helpful (didn't see them this time due to Covid, but based on past experience and the team to whom we spoke to book this time)

Had a great 4 day break. Site and caravan very clean and comfortable, staff really friendly. Site fantastic for Tenby about a 10 minute walk up the hill but only 5 coming back down. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to be close to Tenby in a quiet clean well run site.

I've been coming to this little caravan park for many years, for me its perfect, it's just a little walk to beautiful Tenby! There's a supermarket close by and a good bus service to take you further afield, a lovely quiet park, with friendly helpful staff, the only worry I have, i notice some caravans are up for sale and many privately owned, would be very sad if I couldn't book my annual holidays in this lovely park, it's my happy place 😊

Lovely place to stay, very friendly staff, we extended our visit by an extra 2 days, they were very accommodating and allowed us to arrive early on 1st day. We will be back. Thanks guys for making our holiday perfect. Merry Christmas

Sixth visit to this site.Must be twenty years since we first came here. Still a great place to stay. It has been upgraded over the years but still retains that friendly feel. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday in this beautiful resort.

Stayed here twice this year and have no complaints at all. The couple running the site are very accommodating and do thier up most to ensure an enjoyable stay. The site is very handy for the centre of Tenby being just 10 minutes stroll away. There is no club on this site and the caravans tend to be of the older type but are perfectly fine in all regards, it's a great place for a peaceful and relaxing visit to Tenby and we will visit again soon

Caravan was well past it's best but I'm not complaining, it was clean and warm and everything worked. I realise you're not going to get a brand new van if you're looking for a pet friendly vacation. The staff are fine and you couldn't ask for a better location. In all a nice quiet family site.

Lovely, clean, quiet holiday park. Caravan was excellent. Very spacious and very clean with all mod cons. Easy access into Tenby and other places to visit. Close to a local pub, just over the green, which is handy as there isn't one on site. Spar and Co Op just around the corner so could pick up supplies when needed. Carol is really friendly and very helpful.

Quiet caravan park 5 minutes walk from Tenby centre & beaches. Only has a launderette along with the reception office. Newer caravans this year with the last of the older caravans due to be replaced by next summer. Great prices compared to the Haven park with bars & entertainment next door. Obviously the lesser facilities are responsible for the cheaper prices & much quieter park.

Been coming here for years. With and without kids and dogs. Now has new site management who seem to be very nice and couldn't be quick enough to deal with a request for a different mattress as the one we had was like sleeping on bricks. They have a few new vans at the site entrance. Theres a launderette here. There's a small park at the end of the site for little ones. If you like peace and quiet and a small stroll into town in an evening at a no frills place then Saltern will be for you.

A place where you can go time after time and minutes away from town . Beaches .bus stop .train station and quiet in the nights no rowdy people walking past and excellent management , also caravans clean of dogs( no dogs allowed in these caravans ). also caravans catering for dogs further up the park so you are not pestered by dogs . I'm not a dog lover and it suited me .

Excellent quiet park, spotless inside and outside of caravans. Clean and tidy. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Loved our stay, will definitely return.

Just came back from a week stay at Saltern Caravan Park. A pleasant, quiet and well kept park. With the added bonus of having a few pet friendly caravans. Although not the newest caravan that may require upgrade. (This may happen after season) I cannot fault the assests included. The park literaly is only 5 to10 minutes walk into town. And South beach a dog friendly beach about the same time to walk to. We arrived late everything was ready. Many thanks to managemant for this pleasant stay. Hope to use you again.
