Great place for kids for a play or to paddle in the Usk. Popular place 4 dogs and lots of walks start from there.

There are enjoyable walks along the river banks in Usk. There are many cafes and shops within a few hundred yards.On the far side of the river, there are pebbled areas, and above the banks, there are play areas and BBQ facilities with picnic benches.
Adults should be aware of not allowing young children to venture into evan shallow waters without close careful observations.

Lovely not busy , unless we were just lucky , grandkids had a lovely time paddling in the river , bought them a 99p net to catch things kept them amused for hours , played on the swings etc ...great cheap day out 😀

Free parking with toilets two disabled spaces, hot food van soon to try this summer, shallow water near play area for kids to play in, football pitch for a kick about, town near by aswell and Usk valley walk.

Love the give in the summer times. My parents use to take me there As a child with our dogs and we would play for hours in the river. I take my children here now and they love it just as I did. Great place

Great kids park right next to the river. Picnic benches provided free parking.
