Just had a drink here, service at the bar was slow. Bar staff not checking or seeing who was next to be served. However, it is a beautiful, charming pub that has a beautiful garden out back too. Menu looked reasonably priced with great choice. Maybe next time. Great place x

Maddy served us with so much joy and gladness. Seem to love the job they do.
The pea 🫛 soup was lovely. Had mint in it however was not overpowering👏🏽they got it just right 👍🏽
Husband got the drinks order wrong as he wasn't aware that there were 2 types of Sangria on the Drinks menu. Keira set it right 👏🏽no fuss 🎉 Will definitely come back for when lamb is back on the menu 😅

Stylish and modern with an actors bar, picturesque views and fabulous garden!
I sat in the garden and admired all the different plants. Loved it. Nice seating areas with seating at the back next to a log burner.

Such a lovely place! Great indoor and outdoor seating selection. Outdoor fireplace too, though it wasn’t on (probably because it was the early afternoon). Very friendly staff, lots of staff by the bar so quick service. Dog friendly, and definitely recommend!! Yummy Aperol spritz too, perfect for the sunny day

Great Pub and the food was excellent.
My wife had the pie and it was great, full pie not just a lid.
I had the soft shell crab burger. FANTASTIC

Such a great pub! Have had drinks there before but not food. Didn’t realise how big the pub is. Food was really nice and the beer is delicious. Pulled mushroom chilli was delicious. The bacon and chicken sandwich was nice but could’ve had a few crisps served with it. Chips were perfect.

Great service and an amazing place. We went for a little day trip to Stratford and this was our place of choice for lunch. The service was ultra fast and the place itself was brilliantly decorated.

We came here for something to eat before going to see a play. Most of the tables were reserved but we were able to sit at one because we would be leaving before the reserved time.
Meal came really quickly. I had the cheese toasty with a side of seasoned chips and my daughter had the mac n cheese. Amazing food and friendly staff

Visited here with friends who live in Stratford upon Avon Street, after a few days in Bristol. Just along from the royal Shakespeare company theatre. Can order from the app and do lively IPA beers. Try and get a seat out the front in the sunshine if you can.

Wow!! Had an amazing time here, never been before but was recommended by a friend. The food was incredible and the service was so lovely, all the staff are a credit to this pub. The bar lady was super friendly and patient with us and the outdoor waiting staff were very accommodating and they went above and beyond to make sure our meal was enjoyable. The fish and chips and the korean bbq burger were divine. The toilets were exceptionally clean. Everything about this pub has been incredible and we are leaving very happy customers today. We will definitely be coming back - thank you to all the staff!!

Large long garden at the rear, sat there with a mini prosecco £5.99 today, were some accordian players in the bar, nice atmosphere! I'm a local but this bar is next to the RSC theatre, so alot of the actors end up in here.

Loved sitting outside in the cold with a blanket and the heaters on.
Great spot for people watching and a few cold beverages. Staff are friendly and pub has a good atmosphere.

Lovely pub. Classic old style English aesthetic inside with a good choice of ales and stouts with great sized portions. The steak and ale pie was delicious with plenty of sides and came out quickly and piping hot. Friendly staff and not too loud inside. Will be visiting again. A must visit when in the area

A very nice spot oposite the river with an open and covered beer garden. Welcoming staff serving good food and an excellent range of drinks. I could not see if the establishment is wheelchair accessible. The interior is on the dark side for those with vision difficulty along with steps and chairs close together. A lovely conservatory is attached to the back.

Called in for a drink Sunday afternoon ended up eating. Pub was busy but still felt relaxed. Food came out quickly to say how busy it was. Steak was cooked well and the dripping gravy was delicious. Seafood risotto (see pic) Salmon perfectly cooked with lovely crispy skin. Wouldn't necessarily say it was a risotto but more a bed of rice but very tasty. Great choice on menu.

Lovely place 😍 we went on a Saturday night, to our surprise it had been shut for a month and had only re opened that night as a trial run, until opening properly on the Monday.
We sat out the front on some lovely brand new tables, the service was great, staff very friendly and helpful, food brilliant 😍
Even noticed the big garden area in the back which we will try out next time 😁👍
Definitely recommend this lovely little place, very close to the river and the theatre.

Nice busy pub. We didn't eat but there was plenty of people doing so. A couple of real ales to choose. We only visited as I hoped it was the pub from Shakespear and Hathoway. However it wasn't so I was disapointed.
