Low Burnhall Woodland Trust

Small car park , lots of trails to choose from , few things to look out for, the wicker man his wife and chickens, willow tunnel and hide, stone circle , or just sit and listen to the bird song , lovely peaceful place .

A hidden gem. Well worth a visit. Car park could be bigger but work is being carried out for a few weeks at the end of June so hopefully they're extending it.

A most lovely place to explore . Easy pathways lined with an abundance of wild flowers leading to delightful wicker figures and wonderful scenery. Dog friendly . Good car park . Enjoyed every moment!

Nice walks, some steep.
Paths & car park being renovated at the moment so will be better.

Easy way for wheelchairs & scooters, or narrow Riverside walk for more adventurous!! You can spend as much time as you need, as the walk seems very extensive. We need to return and investigate!!!

Didn't realose this was here! Little hidden gem. Muddy in places and slippery under the foot but it's been torrential downpours for months.
Stunning scenery. Will be visiting again.

Great extensive walks among newly planted native woodland linking to Houghall and beyond. Although people need to start picking up their dogs poo!

Finally found this place and we'll worth it. We spent a couple of hours exploring and will certainly return to explore further. Peaceful surroundings with plenty of bird life. A great change of scenery.

It's really beautiful, has lots of different routes, close to the road and empty in winter. Perfect for dog walks and bird watching.

A lot if the ground is boggy and muddy underfoot and very narrow in places.
The wicker people are lovely 😍

Lovely walk with dogs or kids. Different tracks to take, some which lead you down to the river. You can try to find the wicker man or wicker woman (now with chickens).

Great place for dog walking. Rustic walking well kept routes. Beautiful scenery. Good parking

A lovely Woodland trust site. Walks through established as well as new woodland. Riverside walks too. Part are steep but well worth the walk.

Enjoyed a lovely 2 hour walk in the snow. Even managed some sledging on the hills with my daughter.
