New College Durham

My Grandson, who suffers from Epilepsy has just started at this college. The staff in the Foundation Department have been second to none, extremely supportive and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and this is very much respected by his parents and grandparents. Thanking all staff very much for this support.

I have just started this college in August ever since I've started I've made more friends than I ever had and people speak to me and I get the help I need very friendly and kind college

Completed my GCSE Maths here as an adult learner with the amazing Julie. Fantastic learning atmosphere during the once a week evening session, very well structured and delivered by someone who knows her stuff. Actually miss my Wednesday nights doing GCSE Maths!

Doing 5 Star so this can be seen by all, This College/University have absolutely terrible communication, and they refuse to help you throughout the course clearly picking by out favourites in the class. They have zero care for helping those with mental health issues and it’s instead like to say ‘that’s life get over it’ when you gain courage to actually speak up about it. They then unjustly fail you after they refuse to help in anyway shape or form even higher up side with their colleagues instead of listening to the student. Their student councillors do the one session and even if you book another session they don’t make one and you hear nothing back from them.

If you are looking to go here I’d 100% not recommend I’d suggest looking into other other places such as Newcastle where the teachers actually care and know what they are doing.

Visited with my son as he's starting in September. It's a huge place and was spotless. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Looks like a great place to further your education.

Completed some hobby adult courses here, photography and Photoshop. Well run course and attentive tutors

Studied at New College Durham from 2012 and it was a fantastic place the put all the support I need in place and we're very accommodating I would recommend this College to everyone of all ability as a deaf and wheelchair bound person I was always treated as an equal I attained my degree and I very happy I did

Spent two years studying IT at a level 3. The staff their are always happy to help and are always available via email to talk. Would recommend :)

Staff are great, you can go to a few different places inside for food and get a haircut or holidays in the college's real working environments.

Brill place, some great courses. Sons looking forward to starting his mechanics course soon.

Been studying Business here for 2 years. Great staff, and very good with support for students who are struggling.

GCSE English teacher is lovely and I'm really enjoying this course.

If you want a haircut, there's only one type of haircut: a bald haircut. If you're a female, you should probably go bald lmfaooooo

Gregg's is round the corner will all your greggy needs. So I rate it 5 stars

My daughter has been going here for two weeks and is thoroughly enjoying every minute.

Parking was easy, covid procedures in place with staff policing the rules

The staff are amazing and the facilities are top notch, highly recommend.
