B&Q Aintree

Love this place but when I was at the checkout the lady called Anne told me there wasn't any carrier bags, I thought this a little peculiar and she gave me a black bin bag instead (and charged me £0.45)
as I don't drive it was very awkward carrying my shopping in a bin liner to the train station, I won't be going back there any time soon 😤

Gave 5 stars as I always find staff are helpful. Guide you in the right direction and often give advice. Called in today for a replacement oven bulb...bulb area looked like a hurricane had passed through. Not much was available in the way of any type of bulb. Called to the customer service / collections desk only to find they no longer stock what I wanted 😏 Judging by the state of the bulb area, I personally think they won't be stocking bulbs in general for much longer (although I could be wrong and hopefully it will get tidied and restocked) However, staff directed me to somewhere I could get what I needed, and I did 😊 thank you.

Great shop today informed by store member of 20% off items online... Saved 60 odd pound ordering and then picking up at store. Order ready in less than an hour.

This is not a review of the store but of an assistant called Jason. Every time I go there he is always helpful and always go the extra mile to help me. Bright light on a dim store

Its massive. Clean and bustling with people. Can get bonus card at register sorted in a minute. Has deals on all the time. Prices are ££ but good quality. Has pretty much anything/everything you need.

We went to get our dream kitchen designed today at B&Q Aintree and all of the staff were really helpful and friendly especially Nikola, Jacob, Steph and Dave who went above and beyond to meet our needs by helping us pick appliances, floorboard and offer alternative ideas etc.
Hand on heart I can’t recommend B&Q enough as they not only have excellent customer service skills, but are also great value for money.

Visited around 1pm. No queue!! I was expecting one with it being a nice day! Nicely greeted at the entrance with plenty of antibacterial spray and tissues for customers to use. Only went to garden centre section and there were a vast amount of plants and pots (terracotta ones were a bit sparse though). A very pleasant trip out.

Excellent service from the young staff on the paint mixing desk today , Saturday 10th December at 12 o' clock. Particularly the young lady who helped me match colours. She couldn't have been more helpful and suggested sampling a couple of paints before buying. It made a pleasant change from the disinterested level of service we have experienced in other large stores. We will certainly be returning as very pleased with the choices she picked out for us.

Excellent customer service, I made a click and collect order, I was called by Mel and informed that the items were slightly in perfect but I was welcome to come and look before being charged, once in store I was was assisted and helped by 3 different members of staff (Mel being one of them) all where very knowledgable. Completely different experience to my local store in Huddersfield.

Bought a Mac Vacuum 40L 17th Feb 2022.Staff Chris&Dave were exceptionally helpful, and a credit to your company! All salesmen on the tool section were well informed about the eqipment. Help loading the box to my car by Dave, was appreciated!

Quiet at 6.30pm. Loads of Parking space. I was able to find the super long screws I needed.
