Miller & Carter Aughton

We stayed for one night to attend a wedding close by. As this was earlier than check in the lovely manager took our things and said she would put them in our room for us and checked us in then kindly offered us a lift to the wedding which we were so grateful for. The rooms were spotless and spacious but this what made this hotel was the staff. Every one of them went above and beyond. Breakfast was lovely and again service was brilliant. When we were leaving the girls were making a room special for a couple on their wedding day which was so sweet.

We had a lovely meal with excellent service from Lucy! She was so lovely and engaging, constantly keeping the table laughing and making sure everything was perfect and we were happy with our food! 5 star rating, next time we come back we shall ask specifically for Lucy! :)

We went for an early tea today and had a great time, lovely friendly and welcoming staff. We were served by vicky and she was just so lovely and attentive and really made our little girl feel welcome. Highly recommend! Thank you very much vicky for a beautiful meal and beautiful service.

My family and I came here on Saturday evening. Our server Amber could not do enough for us! Despite how busy it was, she was engaging, friendly and attentive! Will come back just for the service from Amber.

Friday evening date night was such a treat! Me and my partner don't get the chance to go for a meal often together and it was amazing ! The food was superb and the service was on top! Our server EMMA was so down to earth and such a lovely bubbly lady! Working in hospitality myself I understand different levels of service and Emma excelled in how great she was! Will be back on the next date night ! Thank you!

Went last Sunday with family met at check in point and seated by Jacquie very polite and friendly when seating and taking drinks order. All food orders taken by Lucy who was lovely from the minute she came over to us until we left. Five of us all had different meals from vegetarian, burger, lamb and steak all the food was piping hot and delicious. If you want steak don’t go anywhere else but as stated all the food was fantastic. Would like to thank Lucy for being brilliant.

Had a lovely anniversary meal on Sunday. Was served by a lovely young girl called Lucy. She couldn't do enough for us . She was so polite and courteous. It would appear she was thrown in at the deep end as a couple of staff hadn't turned in so she was serving a number of tables, which she did brilliantly.
Must say it was one of the best cooked steaks I've had for a long time and the overall experience for you our anniversary was brilliant.

Michelle was excellent and very attentive. Food was spectacular. We had the Buthers block and weren't disappointed. The steaks came cooked exactly as requested (rare) and the bone marrow was outstanding. Would highly recommend.

We visited today for my husband’s birthday. Our Server was Lucy Mol, she was very friendly and very helpful. Our steaks arrived and they weren’t as requested. My husband asked for medium rare and mine medium, both were overdone not so much that they needed to be returned. We informed Lucy and she was very apologetic, she did ask if we wanted to return them, we were very polite and assured her she didn’t need to apologise as she isn’t the chef, there’s nothing to be gained by getting angry especially at her. It was very busy but I’d still expect the steaks to be cooked correctly. Lucy’s service was perfect we couldn’t fault her. I looked forward to visiting again and hopefully we get Lucy Mol as our server.

Judith looked after us as a table of 6 on the day of my partner's graduation. Brilliant service (actually helpful with advice as well rather than just surface level) and even offering glasses to my partner's mother! Food was great, my first time at a miller and carter and it didn't disappoint.

Great place to stay and spotless. We were a party of 6 and had 3 spacious rooms on the top floor. Lunch & breakfast were perfect and really good value for money. Friendly welcoming staff were absolutely lovely and we will definitely be back soon.

We had Alex as our server and he was so lovely, constantly engaged with us and made us feel welcome the whole time. He made us laugh and made our experience better then we could imagine at miller and carter! Thank you Alex for making us feel welcome. The food was beautiful and the environment was so welcoming and the lady who introduced us to our table was also lovely. Will definitely be returning soon with my parents

Judith was a perfect server for our Sunday lunch! Really looked after us and our family’s special requirements. Food was delicious and it was brilliantly quick service. Would highly recommend! Thank you Judith!

Went to Miller and Carter in Aughton this evening for my sons birthday. The staff are great and a lady called Judith was serving us, she was lovely and made us feel very welcome. They even put a happy birthday message on the table, my son was made up. We had the grilled salmon, it was amazing.

Had a meal with my sister prior to checking into our room, and it was one of the best meals we have had in ages. We had the butchers block and I would highly recommend it, perfect for sharing. Our waiter Caitlin was lovely and had a very positive attitude, Thankyou x

Fantastic afternoon celebrating dads 70th birthday. Staff couldn't do enough for us, ensuring we all had drinks, food was delicious as per and staff came out to sing happy birthday with cake. They wrote a lovely happy birthday message on the table which was a nice touch. Special thank you to Charli, a credit to their team and gave 5 star service throughout.

Myself and my partner went to miller and Carter Aughton today to celebrate my 27th birthday together. The meal and food it’s self was amazing 10/10, however the thing that stood out for us personally was the lovely women who served us throughout the evening. (I believe her name was Lucy) for a Tuesday night the place seemed a bit busy than usual so almost every table full. An elderly couple who sat next to us for the evening when leaving the gent paid and approached Lucy to register his dissatisfaction that when he was served a glass of wine a bit of red wine was on the bottom of the wine glass had dripped onto his shirt. Lucy apologises, takes ownership (even when knowing if it was even her who made the accidental mistake or another colleague) and holds herself so well. And continues to give what I would say is the best customer service experience I have ever seen. I work in customer service myself full time and just want to say how amazing she is and how perfectly she handled that customer. Even more so how perfectly she took care of us all night and everyone else I saw her also take care of. She really is a credit to your team and the Miller and Carter company. YOU GO LUCY, KEEP SMASHING IT !!!

Fabulous birthday meal, food was delicious and service excellent. Michelle our server was lovely and very pleasant.

Drinks came quickly aswell as food order even though restaurant was full . Lovely cocktails too.

Just enjoyed a fantastic Easter Sunday meal at Miller & Carter Aughton. It was our first visit to this branch and based upon the entire event; our delicious food, atmosphere and service we will definitely be back. Huge thanks to all the staff for making it such a wonderful experience, especially our waitress Michelle. Great work : )
