The Oakes Holiday Centre

Fantastic house set in huge grounds, that give it the feel of being in the countryside. It's run by an amazing team of staff and volunteers who's aim is to give children a fun, action packed holiday, whilst telling them about the Christian faith. If your children haven't been, book them in!

This is an amazing holiday centre, really well organised and a lot of fun. The estate has been lovingly restored and has a well thought out program involving canoes, rafts, mud obstacle courses, crafts, all sorts of games to keep kids interested and active. Very popular and booked throughout the year. Health and safety and security are all in place making this a fab place for families to be able to have a lot of fun while also staying safe.

We sent our granddaughter for the first time and she loved it. She is booked to go again in December 2023. The time is well structured, with down time built in. Thoroughly recommend this centre.

My 2 boys 8&11 just back from a stay. To quote, very friendly, very big, great fun, very good all round. They can't tell me anything they disliked apart from having to come home!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as part of the Mum's and Daughter's event. The team are amazing and are attentive to all our needs. My daughter is a reserved character but was able to unfold as I could be at a distance but still able to offer support. What a great way of introducing a child into independence! So much so she is returning in the summer for camp - alone. I have no worries sending her as I know she'll be in safe, encouraging hands.

My Children love it, whether alone or on a Mum's and Daughter weekend. We've been numerous times. Staff appear warm, wise & enthusiastic. flapjack is great too. Highly recomended.

Fantastic facilities and wonderful staff and volunteers. Our child loved every minute of the camp, she cried on leaving and can't wait for her next visit. Her additional needs were catered for without a batted eyelid. Well done everyone involved.

My 11 year old son has just got back from a brilliant weekend at The Oakes. It is the 2nd time that he's been and he is keen to go again soon. The staff are wonderful.

i love it so much, its the best place for kids to learn about the gospel and god. its got many fun activities and games and the people there are so kind

Awesome holiday centre for children. Loads of activities from zorbing to archery, crafts to "its a knock out" staff made up of lots of Christian teens taking a gap year to support the holiday centre.

I love this place, been so many times, never get bored, the way they teach the gospel is amazing!!
