Really like Aldi as prices are so good and good quality especially the meat and chicken section. Can't always get certain things depends what they have in on the day. Wish they would deliver as a 25 minute walk back with shopping bags takes its toil on the aged. But can't fault it.

Always able to park up and the shop is so easy to get round, maybe not the selection the bigger supermarkets stock but I can always manage to do a big shop here.

I observed a member of the public being abusive to the man on the door giving correct advice about people entering the store. This person who was with another individual became very abusive and tried to get past the man on the door controlling how many people entered the store . He remained professional at all times despite this female and her partner not liking the rule. She was very abusive towards this staff member but he kept his cool, remained professional and explained the policy on more than one occasion. I was well impressed with his professionalism and he deserves recognition. This was today 21.04.2020 at the Eckington store about 3pm ish

Manager and staff at the Eckington store very helpful will even bring heavy items out to your car big store wide isles plenty of parking always plenty of choice and value for money. Nice clean store. Helpful staff. Can get a bit busy at times especially if the staff are restocking the shelves. Good range of products too. Covid rules adhered to.

Great for the weekly shop at a reasonable price and the middle aisle is always good for a browse.

Good shop can buy loads of good things

Plenty parking, easy location, well stocked always and great for gluten-free options in fresh foods as well as frozen, although these foods are not well identified. You have to spend time searching the ingredients lists on the back if packets.

The Eckington Aldi is probably one of the best that I have been in. Well ordered and spacious, its an excellent place to shop.

Sadly...I have to make a further entry following a further visit today. The store was very busy with no checks on the door. Social distancing was not being observed and most staff were not wearing masks. I appreciate in the latter case that exemptions can apply but It would be strange if it applied to most of the staff. Social distancing is down to the behaviour of the public but the store has a duty to ensure that excessive numbers are not in the store at any one time because there comes a point where distancing becomes impossible. This is such a good store but I'm afraid it was potentially unsafe today.

This is a new build Aldi, has everything you need and at good prices too.
I have found over time that nearly all food items are just as good or better than any other shop.
Plenty of car parking for every day shoppers. Situated just off the main road which can be a pain to get in or out at peak times.
Very friendly staff, and no queuing at tills unless it becomes very busy.
Well worth a visit especially if you are on a bit of a budget but again it's still quality food.
Recommended to all.
