Beautifully stunning church!! It was lovely to experience the inside of the place!

There is a £5 fee to see the back portion of the church where Shakespeare's burial site is but the first part of the church is free to enter and is still amazing to look at.

The charm of this place, of the building is shocking.
You can see the amazing Holy Bible that Shakespeare himself read from and also you can even touch the exact well that the great poet got baptised in. His and his family’s graves are also beautifully decorated with flowers. All my respect for the RSC and the Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust.

Trinity is where Shakespeare was baptised and buried. It is an active church that works hard to honor the history of the town, uphold the legacy of its most famous parishioner, and accommodate the throngs of daily tourists. The church employees are extraordinarily knowledgeable and are able to answer most any question. Be sure to take a walk around the grounds. The side overseeing the Avon is perhaps one of the most peaceful views on Earth. Take a few minutes to sit, breathe, and contemplate the beauty of nature and life.

Holy Trinity is a beautiful old church in the gorgeous town of Stratford-upon-Avon and the burial place of the great bard himself William Shakespeare. Entry to the church is free but to go and view the graves of Shakespeare and his family you have to pay £4 which they use for the upkeep of this historic church and for the upkeep of the burial site of the most famous writer ever in my opinion.. the church door I found of interest is original and attached to the door is a sanctuary knocker which if you were in trouble or starving or homeless you could knock and have two days sanctuary in the safety of the church . Lovely place to visit the staff were very helpful and informative and it has a nice little church shop selling various souvenirs.

Beautiful church where the bones of William Shakespeare lie.
To see the grave, it is £4 Adult and £1 child (April 2023 prices)
Staff are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Able to look around the church at your own pace.

A must visit church on your Stratford upon Avon trip.
I recommend visiting the church just after visiting Shakespeare's birth place.
It's free entry.

What a beautiful historic church which is the burial site of William Shakespeare and members of his family.

The church itself is magnificent with beautiful architecture down to the smallest details.

The peaceful atmosphere is amazing!

With alot of history involved aswell.

Payment is involved to view the burial site and any further donations can be made to help with the upkeep of the church.

A gorgeous church and the final resting place of William Shakespeare and his family. It was £4 each to enter the space to view Shakespeares grave.

It was a very peaceful space, benches lined the entrance if you wanted to sit and take it all in.

Really easily accessible from town, maybe a 10 minute mostly flat walk up to the church.

Stratford is a fun place. Is has a great vibe. Holy Trinity Church is it’s heart. The cemetery surrounding it is shaded and peaceful. The church is old - the crossing was built in the 1200’s. The rest, including the chancel where Shakespeare is buried, was finished by the late 1400’s.

This church is best known for its ties to William Shakespeare. His baptismal and death records are here. So is his grave, his wife’s grave, and several other family members.

Getting to Stratford is a drive but if you are anywhere around here, Holy Trinity is a must see.

William Shakespeare is buried here, along with several relatives. The walk to the Church is pleasant, as its located near a park and path to the Church is tree lined. The inside of the church is beautiful. The nearby Garden Of Remembrance nearby is also worth a visit.

Paid a visit during the week, was a beautiful place, we paid the donation to go through and see everything. The thing that I was amazed by, the stain glass windows, I could have sat for hours and gazed into them! Fantastic place to visit and have a look around. Nice staff working there and a little gift shop! Definitely recommend!

The burial place of one of the greatest ever playwright, quiet and solemn. It's about 15 minutes from the Shakespeare's birthplace on foot. Between the birth and resting places, why not visit the RSC Theatre to watch a play and enjoy a hot drink by River Avon.
