Guitar James - Camberley Guitar Lessons

James is an excellent guitar player and teacher who encompasses a wide range of styles and techniques.
I’ve been attending lessons for the last few years and have found his teaching style to be friendly, relaxed and professional, whilst maintaining unbelievable patience…
I would recommend James without hesitation to anyone, across all levels, who is looking to learn to play guitar or enhance their own playing ability.

I contacted James after my 12 year old daughter expressed interest in guitar lessons. Even though she is really shy I am so pleased that she is really enjoying, wants to continue lessons and is making great progress. James is a friendly, professional and a patient tutor. I would highly recommend :)

As a parent, James has done and is doing an excellent job at keeping my 17 year old inspired. James has been teaching my son for several years, and has managed to keep him on syllabus whilst at the same time allowing him to explore other music interests. Something that other music teachers ( violin and piano ) have not been able to do.

My 9 year old son has been going for weekly lessons with James for almost 2 years. We loved the idea of our son learning "cool" rock / pop music that he'd enjoy. James has a great way of teaching and explaining music to children. My son picked up reading music very quickly, was fast to pick up the chords and rock out!

Wanted to learn how to play the guitar and found James online. He was really patient as I was a complete novice and soon moved onto learning useful playing techniques. He had great knowledge of how to start learning and encouraged me to move onto more complicated and technical songs. Really look forward to every lesson. Would definitely recommend James

James has tutored both me and my daughter with patience and professionalism on the acoustic guitar. Will get your grades and makes sure you enjoy learning the guitar in the process. An excellent guitarist whose passion is evident, i definitely recommend.

James is an amazing teacher. Having no previous experience in playing the guitar James had taught me all the basics and had me playing songs in under 4 months. I've really enjoyed being taught by him as he constantly pushes me to improve with harder songs, musical knowledge and sitting exams.

James has been providing lessons to me for about 3 months.
As a new guitar player he made me feel very relaxed and is a great listener in helping you to establish clarity on what you are trying to achieve. In my case there are a few particular songs that I want to play competently as well as being able to develop my finger picking style of playing.
Technically, I think he’s excellent and his flexible approach means that he’ll provide the appropriate support and guidance, whether you’re wanting to learn how to read music and pass exams, or just learn chords and a particular playing style.

As always though, the real improvements happen in between lessons depending on how much practice you’ve put in !

I found James through an Ebay advert on Gumtree and decided to order directly through his website which was easy and trustworthy. What I got was a really good price on a fantastic guitar that was even better than I had hoped from the pictures. Ordering, payment and delivery was a breeze. What's not to like? Would I do it again? Wow, that's service! Spotted the guitar on Ebay and was in love already. Sensible to follow the links direct to James's own site. This guitar is better than expected, the only thing James is guilty of is underselling some amazing guitars. Not sure where the guitar came from to Sheffield but it arrived with enough layers of padding, bubble wrap, tape etc, took an hour just to get to guitar case..

James started learning at the age of 6, hes had some exceptional teachers along the way .Hes able to pass on those ,invaluable lessons and experience.
