Actually went and had a wee drink on my own and was made to feel very welcome.. Will definitely be going again next time I'm shopping.

Staff Personable, Pub has Downstairs Bar and Upstairs Room, TV's to both.Good Menu Varied Menu, and Good Beers. Pub on Main Street outside of Shopping Arcade, approx Twenty minutes walk to Football Ground. Home and Away Fans together in Pub.

Came with my dad today and really enjoyed both our meals. My dad was impressed by the presentation of his hunters chicken and has said “I haven’t had a hunters chicken like this in years it’s gorgeous”. I loved my chicken tikka masala it was perfectly seasoned. Perfect service from Jordan and compliments to Jenn’s the chef.

Liked it a lot in here.

Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was chilled.

Didn't try the food, but they had a good drinks selection and were happy to give advice.

The decor was nice, and the toilets were clean.

Nice place to go for a drink.

Very decent cooked breakfasts. Inside interiors were very clean and staff were friendly and approachable. Will return soon.

Great for sport, horse racing on tv, football, f1 etc. Drink Offers. Food offers. Great deals on menu.

lyndsee was fab and the food was great told the chefs name was matthew. played pool good pint as well.

Visited with some friends for food today, I was really impressed with the staffs knowledge of the menu and allergies. I was asked before placing my food order if I had any allergies (I'm gluten intolerant so always ready to tell the staff, but was great to see the staff were trained to ask straight away as it is easy to forget sometimes!) It was pretty busy at the time and I could tell there was something happening with the food orders at the time, but the lady serving me was calm and sorting out the issues, she informed me the food might be a little bit longer whilst they caught up. This was fine for us! The food turned up after no longer than 15 minutes, piping hot and perfect! Drinks prices also are brilliant, I was told they have offers on Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which was brilliant! The staff were on top of clearing and cleaning tables pretty quick which is great to see.Will be visiting again.

Visited for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it, we had a mix of burgers and chicken tikka on our table and all were lovely, great prices and fab drinks too. Jo on the bar was happy to make us cocktails and assisted us with allergies on the table! Will be back again.

Lovely friendly local pub that serves a great budget breakfast - make sure you get there before midday!! 😀

Lovely food.. fast service (since there is barely anyone here giving it's only a monday) but with the food quality its bang on! Defo come again!

J: had hot wings with bombay sauce was beautiful clearly the misses enjoyed hers and drinks and staff were spot on , coming here again for lunch ,cheers.

We had breakfast here and the server was amazing, so friendly and when the card machine went down still put the order through and I just paid a moment later. It was brilliant service and great to see someone who enjoys their job so early in the morning!

Clean, good food and a nice environment.

It was full of middle aged men drinking pints and pints at 10am but... to each their own.

Delicious food, very cheap and a lively atmosphere. A lot more vegetarian and vegan options than I have seen anywhere else.

Nice little bar, The Menu might not the biggest but it does do proper pub grub and it's tasty. The food came out quick which is always good. The drink prices are pretty reasonable too with a brilliant choice of drinks. The Staff are extremely friendly and polite. Definitely a place we will keep coming back to

The Discovery is a great old school traditional pub. Until today I'd only ever called in for a few ciders, but tried their full English breakfast and it was spot on! Plenty of tables and friendly staff with great background music. Will keep going back!
