B&Q Middlesbrough

Just visited your Middlesbrough store, couldn't immediately find what I was looking for. Asked Mally for help, he quickly lead me to exactly what I wanted, and later helped with another query. Thanks Mally, you were a great help.

Never really had a problem in there .usually always have what I want ,staff are friendly and accommodating.and yes they sell tins of compressed air .

Called to look for a new light fitting the other day. Obvious shortage of staff sadly as usual but one member stopped to help. Gaynor? She went out of her way to point me in the right direction and was an absolute pleasure to chat to. She made my day. Thankyou.

Dawn was absolutely fantastic!!! She runs the painting department and is very knowledgeable in her field… damp ceiling fixes, wall colour updates and even kitchen cabinets upgrades! She’s very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much bother for her, we asked a million questions, she was very patient and she managed to answer all our questions with a smile on her face! She even ran quickly to get us an electric cable we needed as the store was shutting and we didn’t have time to go ourselves! She’s saved the day as we had lots of DIY jobs to do around the house and very little clue as to what I need to purchase and the appropriate steps.

Super friendly staff. Last time I was there they explained how I could just fill up a little "pick'n'mix" bag of screws for £3. Saved me at least £20 worth of several full boxes of different sized screws, most of which I wouldn't have used. Awesome.

Massive BIG shout out to Paul today on the seasonal section for helping out with the setting up of my old Dads new lawnmower.
He came to the car and showed me how to put it together after we’d tried at home.
Nothing was too much for him, he was brilliant. Hope his manager sees this and passes on my thanks. Brilliant customer service

I was going to buy paint and Sue the lady at the paint counter was very kind and helped me consider more shsdes and so i confidently settled on one. The man at the till helped me use the self service till and i was out and on my way home in no time. Excellent customer service.

Straight forward in and out in this current climate which is a bonus Staff full of life and Happy to be there made a list of goods needed therefore wasnt wasting time wondering aisles

Fantastic staff members, always helpful! I visited a few days ago and was helped enormously by a lovely lady called Jacqueline. It wasn't her section and yet she took the time to work through it with me and seemed to have endless patience (which in retrospect she probably needed with me haha!). Highly recommended store!

Went to B&Q today, I had some wallpaper over from decorating and wanted to return it, it was no problem and they happily gave me a credit note as I was buying some new stuff whilst there. I got everything I needed and some lovely Christmas baubles and when I was at the till I got £5 off as I had spent over £50 as well as what I had on my credit note so a great result. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful and we served quickly and efficiently.

Went to purchase a piece of wood, but the right size was much longer than needed. We were helped by a lovely young lad called Lewis. He had to follow health and safety so was not allowed to saw it in half for us, but he marked where to saw, helped us get a saw, carry the wood outside, held it while my husband cut it, and then helped carry it to the car. Absolutely brilliant young lad. Polite, manners and gave beyond the call of duty. 5 stars Lewis, wish there were more like you.

Visited 16th May, as we entered the shop staff member on door was very helpful, reminding customers regarding face coverings and hand cleaning, she also greeted all customers very pleasantly. Inside store not all customers remembered social distancing but staff were very helpful when looking for goods.

Huge. I mean, really vast. A fantastic range of everything. Usually at least two choices for each product, plus a budget option. I found their whicker garden screens top quality but a bit pricey. On the other hand, their loppers and secateurs were very good value and reasonably priced.

Moving into a new house is so stressful, but it's been made easier knowing I can get all the necessities needed to freshen the place up and put my own stamp on the place. Really loving the rewards card they now have also.

Visited the store today to purchase wallpaper and paints , we were helped by a gentleman ,Dave the Valspar advisor , please thank him again , he was a brilliant help , matched our emulsion to our wallpaper perfectly

Brilliant store. Staff are friendly and helpful. They will go to the ends of the earth to help. Alternatives can be found.
Store is clean and tidy and safety measures are in place. Be prepared to wait for a while when its busy, adds to safety measures so not a problem

Great parking on a medium-sized retail park. Busy during the week and very busy at weekends. The store is brilliant for its choice of paints. I love the wallpaper and 'knick-knack' sections. It's October now and they are setting up the Christmas Shop - great selection of lights usually. Worth a visit.
