Well laid out and lots of stock availability. Good access even for disabled people and they have toilets if your caught short. This store has Argos inside so ideal for picking up orders or buying an item.

Sainsbury's in Middlesbrough is an excellent supermarket with plenty to offer. They have a fantastic range of products, and everything is reasonably priced. The parking lot is spacious and well-maintained, making it easy to find a spot close to the entrance. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to go above and beyond to assist customers. The store is well-organized and easy to navigate, with clear signage making it easy to find what you need. The checkout process is quick and efficient, with plenty of tills open to ensure minimal waiting times. Overall, Sainsbury's in Middlesbrough provides a great shopping experience with excellent prices, convenient parking, and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Sainsbury's products are very good and the shop is well stocked
However the lack of tills and customer service is not very good at all
An elderly gentleman working on the self service yesterday was appalling. He was abrupt, bad tempered and rude. The other problems seems to be staff or visitors to the store stood in groups blocking aisles and oblivious to customers. No longer a pleasant shopping experience

Went shopping with the wife for the first time in ages...

I actually had quite a pleasant experience. The store is set out in a customer centric style; with aisles laid out in an well organised manner.

The staff were also very helpful and kind. I received a number of welcoming smiles as I passed members of staff. Just felt nice and made the whole shopping experience pleasurable.

In addition, I used to have the perception that sainsburys was an expensive place to shop; to my surprise, it wasn't too bad at all. I managed to find some items which would have otherwise cost at least 50% more!

So - I definitely recommend you pay this store a visit. In my honest opinion you'll enjoy the experience and probably save a few bob too.

Always have a good shopping experience here. Good selection of veggie/vegan options, however they could extend their range. Only complaint would be that they got rid of the cafe and have no coffee machine in the garage.

Great place to shop if you live in Middlesbrough or its environs

We use the cafe on a regular basis. Staff are really friendly and the coffee is great.

Hadn't been in store for quite a while, the layout was better, plenty of choice and enjoyed looking around the clothing section... mam wasn't feeling too well and needed to sit down, there was a lovely gentleman who got her a chair and was very kind and helpful👏👏sorry I didn't get his name but he was fab..

Great choice, currently Decaf Nescafe gold intense is £4 for large tub and max power fairy £2.75. Veg was great as well, all looked good.

Sainsbury's is a one-time stop for all your essentials, from food items to clothing, kitchenware, and toiletries, especially for new people in Middlesbrough.

This is where I do my weekly shop. I find the store to be clean and bright and the staff are very helpful. It is disabled friendly. I give this store 5 🌟🌟 all the way.

Great sized sainsburys; excellent range of clothing and home goods, alongside the usual quantity of foodstuff.

This shop has a uniquely wide range of world foods which i really enjoy to try out all the different options, reasonable prices too.

Sadly the cafe was recently removed, although there are toilets and an Argos instore. Shop is accessible with step free access and wide aisles.

Unfortunately queue times can be quite long at peak times, due to a limited number of manned checkouts, and the self-service area being small and cramped doesn't speed it up any further. Staff are very friendly and helpful though, even at busy times.
