Lovely beaches
Family friendly beaches, walks, ice creams and restaurant all on the coastal path with various parking area and public toilets and showers too.
🐾 Dog friendly beaches too but do check the dates for the main beach 🐾

Love this place. Any season this is a lovely place to be. Eateries are on reduced hours out of season. Websites unreliable for open times. Council closed public toilets out of season?

Was lucky enough to be staying with friends just round the headland from the main bay. I went swimming in the sea a few times. So calm and beautiful. Sat in the private cove belonging to where I stayed and read or just sat listening to the waves and the gulls. Went round to the lighthouse at South Stacks, was amazed to see 2 climbers scaling the very sheer cliffs.
Only a 2 hour drive from Manchester, so can go for a day or weekend break. Don't fill up before you go, just have enough petrol to get you there. Where I live cheapest petrol is £1.77, I paid £1.68 over there.
I'll definitely be back before the end of summer. I've found a little gem of a place.
Only slight downer, it needs to catch up with disabled access to some of the smaller beaches, and definitely to the actual lighthouse. But this is part of the coastal walk, so I'm guessing it's a compromise between access and natural beauty.

Fantastic sandy beach with lots of water sports. Part of the beach is dog friendly. Plenty of places to eat and drink, there's a large pay and display car park with toilets. You can easily spend the day here.

Wonderful beach. So clean. Great parking around the beach. Steps and ramps to get onto the sand itself. A lovely walk around the beach. Great for children and doggies. Lovely for swimming I believe as there were a few there, even though it is colder when I went. Coffee shops, toilets and snacks near by. Stunning drive as area is also beautiful. A must visit.

Best beach in the world and even better out of season when it's not busy.
Beautiful sandy beach, glassy blue sea and an amazing headland walk.
All local pubs are dog friendly just be careful in the main carpark as I got a ticket for being 10min late back to the car. The wardens are not lenient

When the sun is shining the beach is amazing! The water is quite sheltered and so allows for younger children to play safely. During the peak season dogs are restricted to one side of the beach. But in low season they can use the full width. There are multiple car parks in the area and some on road parking for shorter stays. There is a public toilet just off the beach and a Spa shop nearby too.

Fabulous small bay , with 2 large cafe/ restaurants off the beach and a large car park next to one of them . Always pay the RNLI shop a visit and go crabbing off the rocks in the summer . The photos were taken on a blustery, cold April day and there were still people swimming in the sea . There are public toilets in the main car park .

Lovely beach and little cove. Good car park and, as we've found on most of Anglesey, excellent public toilets

Gorgeous beach! We loved walking along here in the evenings and spending hours building sandcastles in the day ☀🏖

Absolutely gorgeous little Bay which is quite sheltered so the water is lovely and calm. Ideal for little ones to play in and for paddle boarding. There's some great pubs, shops, paddle board hire and toilets all within easy reach of the beach so you can definitely make a full day of it here. I parked at the carpark next to the Sea Shanty which was £10 for a full day, bit pricey but definitely worth it. Dogs are allowed on half the beach.

A stunning sandy beach set in a beautiful rocky bay, the beach is gentle sloping and very roomy when the tide is out, when the tide is in it almost disappears so make sure you check the tide tables.
There are a number of cafes, restaurants and a pub nearby, if you are looking to eat probably best to book ahead in the busy summer months.
For the summer months you can only take dogs on half of the beach so be aware of this if you are planning a dog walk.

Beach looked lovely and clean, no litter and not too pebbley. Sea was lovely and calm, nice sheltered bay. Promenade was nice and clean with no litter or dog mess, but why do dog walkers think it's acceptable to have dog on 2m long lead taking up the entire walkway??

Been here twice. 1st time was gorgeous and the second time it was flooded with families.
We enjoyed our time at the Trearddur Bay Beach and got boiled in the water on a hot day.
Loved every minute with my family here.

Lovely beach, plenty car parking cafe s, pubs etc. We were doing a treasure trail (online app) and had to find clues unfortunately it led us right past the ice cream van.

Great little beach, one of the best in North Wales, although for the whole of Wales I must say that Cymtyddu is my favourite beach.
I have been going to this beach since I was about 7-8 so 1972-73, caught lots of fish off the rocks on the right hand side of the beach over the years, not much has changed there, great mooching about in a canoe if you can rent one of the natives around there.
