We finished a 3 mile walk with 3 wet dogs and were made very welcome by the lady busy in the kitchen. Couldn’t have felt more welcome despite my doubts about taking the dogs in.
Friends had sausage sandwiches and coffee whilst I opted for a delicious slice of cake and tea(served in a china cup) Because of the weather we sat inside in a quite small room but there were plenty of tables outdoors which would be lovely on a dry summer day.
Will definitely go back in the summer and hope for a dry day! Felt so sorry as we left, leaving behind a very wet floor which was cleaned as soon as we left.
Highly recommended for the cake alone!!

First time being there when I was out for a walk. Had a lovely welcome and the people that were running the Cafe on 2nd May 3023 were very kind. They went above and beyond the norm whilst catering for my 10 month old baby. Food was lovely and a fair price which is hard to come by. Tea pot for 1 was generous, I managed to get 3 cups out of it. The cafe had a lovely outdoor area but I opted for inside which had a rustic feel with local artwork on the walls which were available to purchase. Absolutely lovely, thank you.

We stopped here for a late breakfast as we were walking the coast path. Service was really friendly and quick, we ordered 2 sausage sandwiches which were delicious and set us up for the walk into Holyhead. Cappuccino was hot and tasty. Lovely aspect, looking out over the sea.

The ladies that run this place are lovely. There is a huge outdoor space that is child and dog friendly. It is right next to Penrhos park and a fabulous place to stop after, or before a wander. The tea is served in a large teapot with extra hot water. The cakes are delicious. You can stop a drink only, cake or a light lunch. The toasties are lovely with the option of salad or fruit and crisp. This place gets busy! So if you are not in early then be prepared to wait, it's worth it!

Just the place after a walk through the coastal park. Good range of light lunches, drinks and cakes. Eat in or out, including Wendy houses to shelter from the inevitable rain. Dog and kid friendly. Sign says open Fri-Mon.

Visited this cafe many times before on our visits to Anglesey, staff always fabulous and accomodating, on this occasion we arrived after a long hike starving but too late in the afternoon to order food as they were just shutting, in expressing our disappointment the manager took pity on us and produced two huge bacon sandwiches, freshly made, stuffed full of delicious bacon served on doorsteps of fresh brown granary bread along with coffees of our choice. Never had a bad experience at this little cafe with its lovely garden and views across the bay at Penrhos which also is great for hiking, exploring and watching the shore wading birds. Highly recommended!

I was warmly welcomed at this characterful cafe, served with delicious tea and wonderful bara brith. It’s a bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit. For cyclists, it is on route 8, which is how I found it. A real gem.

We called in here after a walk around as I had read the other reviews and thought it sounded worth trying. I was not disappointed, as the weather was very changeable we opted to sit inside rather than at one of many outside spots in the garden. Immediately on entering we found ourselves in a charming, tiny room with a counter area and attractive original fireplace. We checked we were ok to come in with our dog and both the girls at the counter affirmed we could. We went into a small room with three tables and looked at the menu which, considering the size of the place (everything is tiny) was very extensive. I opted for Barra Brith and a latte while my partner went for Welsh Rarebit and a loaded hot chocolate. Whilst we were there, the owner, Claire, came in to give our dog a fuss and brought her a bowl of water and a few treats. She sat and chatted about dogs for a while until other customers came in needing her attention. We enjoyed our visit to Coffee Cups, we both enjoyed what we had, everyone there were very friendly and we will definitely make a return visit whilst we are here.

Good for outdoor eating. Food was great. Big prawns in the sandwiches and the cheese and mushroom toastie was lovely. Great outdoor space for kids.

Today was just one of those days which starts with low expectations because of the awful weather and ends with blowing your mind! I found this cafe by chance whilst hiking the coastal path. What a building! It's the old Toll House. What a location! Overlooking the bay. What friendly, warm service! Great mug of tea and fruit cake. Just after leaving I walked through the best bluebell wood I've ever seen in my life in Penrhos. Who cares about the rain when you can take shelter in these authentic places 😜💦👣💚

Wonderful, homely and friendly. Highly recommend.
A tiny cosy little cafe with an open fireplace. Fantastic variety of homemade cakes including lots of gluten free options. Wonderful salad with fresh fruit.
Excellent value for money.
Accessible toilet with baby change facilities.
Limited disabled access inside due to the age of the building.
Dog friendly. Little summer houses to sit in by the sea. Lots of outdoor seating.
Tiny craft gallery upstairs up a steep staircase.
