Dolphin Hotel Great Yarmouth

I have just got home from a one night stay here for the wheels festival! I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly both upon arrival and during my stay. The room I was in was clean and spacious and so was the on-suite shower/toilet room I liked the fact they left the window open for me and the bedside lights on too. That added a very relaxed feeling to my stay. I will be staying here again in the future. Thank you

I haven't even been to sleep here yet and I'm going to write a review,
I wasn't expecting much because of the price I paid. £160 for four for two nights.
The receptionist was lovely, we were also greeted by another lovely lady who I'm assuming was management or something but she was on her way out.
Quick and easy to check in, room was easy to find. The room is lovely and bright, window was open so was lovely and fresh. The decor is pretty. Few bits that could do with being painted but doesn't affect anyone.
Fresh towels on the beds, body wash and shampoo in the bathroom which was a pleasant suprise.
Beds are super comfy, pillows nice and soft.
Plenty of storage, tea coffee. Hairdryer, TV with lots of channels. And plenty of plugs to charge devices.
For the price and the location it's brilliant . And perhaps anyone moaning should spend more money if their expectations are that high.

A lovely hotel. The females on reception were lovely and the gentleman Cameron (hoping I got his name right) was an absolute gem. He was not only great with the adults but was so friendly with the kids, so thank you for your services. Also a massive shout out to the cleaning staff really did a wonderful job on the rooms, so thank you to you guys too.
Hotel was 1 minute walk away from the beech leaving you plenty to do. There are so many cafes, shops etc around the hotel that you have no worries in accessing things.
All in all a very good experience staying at the hotel. Totally recommended.
The only other things I would like to suggest is a lift as it was a little difficult for my mum with health issues walking up those steps to the second floor. I do also feel the breakfast was a little expensive but as there are so many other local cafes around it wasn't difficult to get a budgeted breakfast.

It was great our room was huge. The bathroom was lovely nice and clean and cleaned every day. staff were so lovely and helpful, breakfast was very nice. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach and pier would definitely come back 👍

Had a pleasant stay here at the dolphin hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable exactly what we expected. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and efficient. The location was excellent close to the beach and all attractions. Would highly recommend 👌 👍.

Such a lovely stay. This was a weekend away, and this hotel made our stay extremely comfortable and lovely. The staff here are really helpful with great customer service. Will definitely visit here again. Highly recommended. Thank you

It is a lovely clean hotel and the blonde lady on reception went above and beyond to help and was such a lovely lady . All staff were polite and helpful and I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a break . We took our dogs also and other dogs were their but didn't smell of dogs at all it was lovely and fresh spotless clean white bedding and towel and room was clean too

Great location, but hotel not the best. Rooms had stains on carpets and water stains on ceilings. Showers didn't work and my basin was blocked. Hotel really needs a re vamp..We had 4 rooms with babies , and no lift so had to drag pushchairs and cases up 3 flights of stairs with no help. Having babies and young children was mentioned at time of booking, so would have been appreciated if we had ground floor rooms. Breakfast, had a limited choice but not worth £9.00 per person.

easter weekend i spent, ,Jackie at the Compfort Hotel, the hotel was very clean and all facilities needed were in the rooms. Unfortunatley i had a fall and i couldn't praise the staff enough for all thier care and help they gave to me.I would like to thank two members of staff that worked on reception Jackie and Kelly, went beyond their duties in caring for me. I definately recommend this hotel for the friendly staff and service they provided for me. I hope to return next year.

Hotel room great value for the price, nice sized TV. Plenty of channels, comfy bed, nice shower, wardrobe etc. But the best bit was the cleanliness of the room, it was spotless. I actually went out of my way to try to find one speck of dust. Not a single one, or hair, nothing. I've stayed in quite a few hotel rooms recently, this was the cleanest by a long way. Not even in the space behind the head of the bed. I actually made a point of personally thanking the housekeeping lady and complimented her on a great job. Absolutely recommend this hotel!

Went on a coach tour to yarmouth and stayed four nights. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Bed lovely, clean and comfortable.
Food really nice.
They were a bit short staffed so sometimes we had to wait to be served at bar. Not a problem to us but some people grumbled. Would recommend this hotel.

My husband surprised me with a trip to Great Yarmouth and we stayed at the Comfort Hotel. The rooms were very clean with massive beds for you to starfish in!
The evening food and breakfasts were amazing and good value.
We had a small issue with the shower and noise on our first night (not the staffs fault and they made every effort to sort this) resulting in us getting an upgrade into the bridal suite. Again, this room was spotless and the bath was incredible!
Would highly recommend and happily stay here again as the staff are brilliant!

Every time we stay here we are greeted with a warm welcome and an extremely friendly and helpful team

We stayed this time for my partner’s birthday and we’re upgraded to the honeymoon suite when I booked a double room

We booked dinner and for unforeseen circumstances we’re unable to cook so the team went absolutely above and beyond to help get us dinner sorted they even prepared a birthday table for my partner it made her so happy.

Jackie and the team are absolutely amazing and I couldn’t thank her and the team for everything they have done for us

Stayed at the comfort hotel a few times now. Twice being during the pandemic. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Great staff. Rooms are amazing for the prices. Clean& tidy communal areas. Great little bar. 10/10

Wonderful friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Room 200 is very nice with balcony and big corner bath in the bathroom. Kim is extra helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Food was also fantastic. A good all round hotel with a wonderful team of staff.

Booked for a two night stay as we had tickets to Sea Life Centre and wanted to have a relaxing time. The room was lovely and clean. My only real niggles were that the windows were only single glazed and allowed noise through and had condensation in the morning, and that there was a lot of door banging and noise from some guests during the night. Other than those two things, it was a lovely stay. The meal we had at The Grill Restaurant at the Hotel was amazing, very tasty and great value.

The room was new and nice. Very clean. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. A bulb blew and was fixed straight away. You can order steak at 4 in the morning if you like too lol all round lovely experience and literally 1 min from the beach. Which is also lovely and tidy.

Great place to stay. rooms are good size and beds ain't to bad either. the staff were great but 2 of them were outstanding. Jason the chef is a outstanding cook and very polite young man. Jackie at the desk done a wonderful job there keeping the guests happy and is a very polite and funny person. the wi-fi could be alot better which is my only little problem with the hotel. would definitely 100% recommend staying here

If your looking for high class. Isn't the place for you. If your looking for homely . Friendly . Welcoming. Really made to feel at home. this is the place for you. Me ,my sister and mum decided to have a girls night and stayed here and was made to feel so welcome by Jackie. She was honeslty incredible, swapped our room for us with no bother when she realised my mum couldn't manage the stairs, sat with us in the bar area and spoke about the world. Felt like we new her our hole life, honestly cant thank her enough for her kindness and friendliness. She even took my little sister off to see the chickens and put them away and let us see the cats. All in all just really amazing service. We will be back without a doubt! Xx

Booked my 50th birthday party here and had the most amazing time 🎵💃The staff were brilliant from my enquiries, to more in-depth discussions nearer the time and on the night too! The room was perfect and set out how I asked and the disco was great too! Highly recommend 🤩and went to join family and friends for breakfast the next day and that was very good too! Great value and service. Thank you Kim, Wayne, Marie and all 👍
