Me and my partner enjoyed our little lunch nibbles with our dog. Nice menu. The prices were average for these days. The food was yummy. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Its an oldy pub with a great beer garden

Delighted to find The Ship Inn now offers superb breakfasts, becoming the new favourite 'go to' after the closure of our previous regular venue. Excellent value and a beautifully cooked grill selection from quality ingredients, the vegetarian options are just as tasty as the regular full English, along with excellent coffee on the menu. The staff and kitchen team are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and also operate a dog friendly policy for walkers.

A beautifully appointed and well kept traditional style Cornish inn situated by the entrance to Par beach, The Ship Inn makes a fabulous setting for a delicious early breakfast with the chance for a good amble along the beach to work the pounds off afterwards. Excellent venue, fabulous food and great service all highly recommended.

Visited at the weekend as they had just started doing breakfasts again, food was fantastic, great atmosphere and staff were super friendly, new chef is a breath of fresh air to a stunning pub. Can't wait to see what they have planned for the rest of the year.

Left about 11am and could smell the carvery being cooked from the kitchen, already booked in for this coming sunday.

cant wait

Went to the ship in for lunch and ate outside. Which was lovely to sit in some fresh air. Lovely meal and great customer service by Connor. He's very polite and made sure we were happy with our meal. He's a credit to the ship Inn.

I recently went to the shin inn for a Sunday lunch with my family and friends, I was impressed by the food and also our waiter who was called Theo. He was a rather young lad but was still extremely capable of everything he was asked, he is also a lovely person to have a genuine conversation with.

We came for a cheeky meal this evening and I have to say. The 1 star reviews are obviously on something because The Ship is amazing. The atmosphere is traditional English pub vibe with old wooden beams and friendly staff. The food, oh gosh the food is stellar. Would definitely recommend you come for their main menu meals, the steak and the mix grill are to die for! It's also VERY dog friendly ❤

On holiday near by went for the carvery for lunch and excellent meal lovely food and very friendly staff a lovely old pub atmosphere will definitely visit again during our stay.
We visited The Ship twice more during our stay at Par and once again weren't disappointed with the food the second time round we had the gorgeous fish and chips and mushy peas, and the third time we went for the fantastic mixed grill food is fantastic at The Ship Inn backed up by a superb range of local ales and ciders,we will definitely visit The Ship inn again if down in this area.

If you are looking for home cooked good food with well kept real ales in a traditional freehouse pub then try here.
Very clean and tidy . Quick and friendly staff. Lots of local memorabilia on the walls to look at.
They also had no problem putting the rugby on for us. Great place

We came here specifically to listen to Roche Brass band in the garden.
We ordered food which came out quickly and was really nice.
The weather was showery but it didn't matter as we were under cover outside.
The hanging baskets around the pub and garden were particularly spectacular and full of colour.
The loos were clean and well stocked. Staff were friendly. Band were superb!

Amazing food! Dog friendly, reasonable price! Provide free water and bowls for doggies and some sausages etc. Dog treats available at bar to treat your pooch and a good selection of outdoor seating with or without shelter. Would definitely recommend.

Just popped in for food whilst on our mini moon and had a lovely experience. The service was brilliant and the food was so good! I kept pinching my partners food because his mixed grill was incredible.

Had lunch here yesterday. Very accommodating, found us a table straight away, even though they were almost fully booked. Good food (I had 2 x Mac cheese) and attentive service. Funny part was being called a “blow-in” by a man in a skirt, on our way out 🤣🤣🤣

A nice small pub on a wet overcast day, which makes excellent use of the outside area on hot days in summer with various bands and events.

There is a quiet garden at the back and a childrens play area which is part of the main event area, allowing parents to sit down while keeping an eye on the children.

The bar is friendly and I enjoy having a nice drink there.

True character of an English pub, this place is great for a scrumptious pub meal. Tucked away near Par, Cornwall, UK, it is walking distance to the beach.

The pub itself is Devine, with its decor covered in memorabilia along the walls and wooden beams. The owner is friendly, and hospitality is perfect. Will definitely visit again during our stay.
