One of our favourite places to go in Fowey.
Staff are amazingly friendly, so welcoming and will do anything to help. They all clearly all get on so well and their happiness is infectious.

Wide range of food and drinks and also delicious cakes/treats.

We had lunch on this visit, crab tacos and BBQ chicken tacos. With Brown Sugars Easter Egg hot chocolate, which was fantastic.

Local and fresh ingredients are used, service is quick and great value for money.

Thank you to all at Brown Sugar, highly recommend to all.

Had wonderful BLT sandwiches with salad and homemade coleslaw. Coffee totally perfect. Highly recommend will be definitely be back. Luckily I’m local 🤗

Sweet little cafe, we went for brunch and it was delicious! Dogs are very welcome outside and on the ground floor. Can be very busy but we found a table. The hot chocolate was so good and we also had nutella and banana pancakes, scrambled eggs on toast and cooked breakfast. They were very helpful in doing a vegetarian gluten free breakfast and checking about the dietary requirements. Would visit again!! 💗

Came here for a cream tea. Service was excellent and the scone was so light. We were worried when two scones arrived, but it was so easy to eat.
Would definitely recommend.

We arrived at Brown Sugar sodden wet on a very rainy day and were welcomed in with smiles. An exceptional lunch (brilliant home made fish finger sandwich). Top shout out to team member Lana who ran down to the ferry with a pair of gloves we’d left on the table! Highly recommended.

We had a simply lovely and very tasty breakfast here. Food was fresh and extremely filling, staff really helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast and coffee 👍🏻

Date visited 18 March 2024. My family and I are visiting the area from Cambridge for a week staycation. We decided to have a day trip to the picturesque village of Fowey. While there we decided to stop for coffee and cake but to my surprise I saw American pancakes on the menu. As I am an American. I wanted to try these American pancakes. I decided to have the bacon maple pancakes.

The pancakes were homemade, golden brown in color stacked 3 high with crispy bacon between each stack!!!! The pancakes were made to perfection in my opinion. Not to small, not to thick, light and fluffy. This was a real American pancakes prepared the American way!!!! The rest of my family said that thier coffees and cakes were 5 stars as well!!! If you are a pancake lover like me. Brown Sugar should be your first stop in Fowey. I would like to thank the chef who prepared my pancakes. Thank you for the taste of home!

Friendly service, well distanced outdoor tables with a brilliant full English. White pudding a nice touch and the cake was fresh and very homemade. A lovely spot for breakfast while we were on holiday in Fowey!

Good place for breakfast. Great food quality, had scrambled eggs and pancakes with bacon, both really nice. Coffee is on a weaker side, though, flat white is more like latte. Recommend to book in advance, so you can sit inside. The place has some nice views on the graveyard by the church.

Delicious gluten free options! So happy to be able to share in the deliciousness of bacon and maple syrup on fluffy American-style pancakes. Lovely selection of cakes too and nice coffee.

Amazing good, pancakes are HUGE. Bacon is delicious!, Well worth £7. Will be bringing friends and family here. It's now my fave local go-go!

Ate here twice during a recent holiday to Fowey, amazing food, excellent service and really accommodating as we were a big group! It's be great if you'd let dogs upstairs as well as down ☺

Excellent and friendly service and tasty, good value food. Staff offered local advice about visiting Fowey and the portion sizes were very generous. I would definitely recommend the Nutella and banana pancakes!

I have to agree with previous reviews, superb coffee (caff & decaf). The home made soup is delicious as well as the cakes. Friendly staff with good service. Dog friendly but, only downstairs or outside. Take out is also available.
