Such a treat to go when in season!

Be sure to book in advance as they go quick! We spent the day here during peak season.

Pros: Lots to see and do. There are numerous gardens, displays, and attractions built into the grounds. There is even a large educational sections with various animals, some whom are rescued that are used in various classes throughout the season. Very family friendly in having a massive pay area with lots of room to run and play. The cafe has plenty of seating and even with a long que, it goes quickly. The gift shop and mini garden are well stocked and have so many lovely things both lavendar themes and not to take home.

Cons: Parking lot can be precarious and fills up fast. Be sure to check the site for any updates. When we arrived we learned the main fields were not open (they said it was because they weren't up to standard). Also yu must prebook afternoon tea. We sadly didn't know so we weren't able to try it.

Overall a family friendly, dog friendly day out to enjoy Norfolk

What a great place. From the road it looks like a garden centre which has loads of lavender, but it's far better than that.
It has a very good cafe bar with indoor and outdoor seating.
It has a fabulous farm shop selling a huge range of produce, mostly local and quite a lot home made, all at reasonable prices.
From the garden centre you go over a bridge into a beautiful garden area with trestle tables, it's a great place to relax. We got some food from the farm shop and had it there, perfect!

I like Norfolk Lavender, and as a local, I am a regular visitor.
Free to park and free to enter.
There's more to the place than Lavender.
Extensive gift shop, farm shop (including butchers and home baked goods). Plant Centre, meadow garden, Animal Gardens (charge), and also the Lavender Lounge for a bite to eat.
Do bear in mind that the Lavender and the running of the still is seasonal.
Open 364 days a year.
Worth a visit 💜

I planned my visit for early July when the lavender was at its best, I was not disappointed. The National Collection on site includes over 100 different varieties and as such is full of amazing colours, creating many photographic opportunities.

The gardens are free to explore, there is a charge however for the animal gardens which is home to a variety of mammals, birds, invertebrates and reptiles. There is also a charge for the guided tours.

The Farm Shop is a well-stocked with very good quality produce and meat. The Gift Shop has a large range of both lavender and non-lavender based gifts and items. There is also a large choice of lavender plants for sale. Finally, the Lavender Lounge is a pleasant place to have food and/or drink, staff are very welcoming and part of the lounge is dog friendly too.

Lovely place to visit. Lovely farm shop selling great Norfolk products. Lovely on site lavender shop selling lavender products and other gifts. Lovely lavender plants for sale. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast, and light bites as well as mains. Plenty of seats but it does get busy in the summer months. Highly recommend a visit.

Came here on a day excursion while on holiday in Norfolk, and was pleasantly surprised with just how much there is to see here. There's a big and beautiful shop stocked not only with lavender toiletries and essential oils but also stationery, toys, homewares, bags, jewellery, honey and lots of other nice gifts. Not cheap, but good quality products. There's also a nice little garden centre where you can buy different types of lavender as well as other garden plants, roses, fruit trees and lots of pots and planters. The well-kept garden across the bridge is a delight to explore and there's also a waterfall, a small zoo where children can meet and stroke the farm animals (there is an admission fee) and outdoor and indoor play areas. The farm shop is full of good quality local produce. I especially loved the cheeses and deli! There's a spacious café with comfy leather sofas, where they serve hot meals as well as snacks, cakes and ice-cream. Tried one of their big lavender scones with jam and cream - it was so fresh and absolutely delicious! - and a refreshing cup of lavender tea. The toilets were clean and accessible. Lots of parking. Was a bit disappointed that we came too early in the year to see the lavender fields in full bloom, or do one of the guided tours, but it was still worth the two to three hours we spent here.

Absolute delightful place to visit, set in very pretty grounds. This old mill is steeped in history, very well laid out, very well stocked gift store with quality items, including what this place specialises in, and that's all things lavender, scented candles, soaps, potpourri, air freshers and much much more

Outside - fantastic grounds for a relaxing stroll, cross over the bridge walk round, or have a picnic while listening to all the bird song, or for a small entrance fee, take a look at the petting area and fuss the bunny's, Guinea pigs, donkey, and many other animals

Hungry - then take a break in the exceptionally nice restaurant, have cuppa, a cake, a sausage roll, have a sandwich, or whatever your heart desires. There are many many choices of locally made delights to enjoy inside or outside next to the river

Enjoyed your dining experience? Then pop to the shop, near the car park, it's packed with all the delights from the restaurant that you can take away and enjoy in your own home, all locally sourced locally grown or made onsite and exceptionally good quality

There's also the kids' indoor play area for all weather's!! There's also somewhere with food and drinks to purchase while the kids run wild!!
Next door, a very up market store, packed with top quality items and very one-off quirky items of furniture like lamps, chairs, dining tables and sets, mirrors, paintings, pictures, clocks and much much more,

Would visit again just for the gift shop! A great range of adult and children’s gifts including jelly cats.

Visited on a rainy day so didn’t stay outside much but I would definitely recommend it. Lovely garden shop if in need of lavender!

Spacious cafe, friendly staff and delicious cakes! What more could you want? Oh yes, it’s also dog friendly and has a good selection of home made gluten free cakes … thank you! The lavender cake was amazing, as was the coffee cake (walnut free - thank you!) Even the dog loved her ‘steak & kidney’ biscuits!

Norfolk Lavender is a real destination, there is so much on offer, we are so lucky to have this on our door step. We love the farm shop, the team are so friendly and helpful and always cheery. The shop has everything you could need in the way of culinary delights…local produce, fantastic butchers counter and a deli selection with great home cooking. All served with a smile! Norfolk Lavender kept us going through lockdown, summer high seasons and winter cold days, well done team!

There is a cafe a farm food shop, play barn for kids, a relaxant walkaway through the garden and animals farm.
Definitely deserves a visit!!!
🤩 Pretty much everything you want for about 3 hours to do.

Wonderful day out here on Saturday, bought some beautiful plants too. Amazing that it's free entry and free parking. The cafe was a bit pricey for what we got but we didn't mind after free entry :)

The lavender scones were incredible

We got there 10am and already busy, Visited the animal farm first of all and staff were very polite and knowledgeable. Lavender was in full bloom and we walked around the gardens and had little areas to sit. Had a sandwich lunch outside the Lounge and had a family of robin join us even perched on the table pinching crumbs which was a delight, the staff were very polite and worked hard keeping people happy as very busy at 11.30. Plenty to look at in the gift shops but quite pricey. Had a good day all in all was there 3-3 half hrs.

So I popped into the deli knowing there was a butcher and with my birthday tomorrow I was after a cracking joint I could cook off at high heat and then leave in some foil.

The butcher in the deli was insane. Cracking selection of meats. I can not of rate butcher high enough. Such a friendly butcher. The joint was a forerib middle back French trimmed with one bone. Perfect for a sizzle on the bbq. Well priced and not too hung and more than anything fresh. The meat was still a lovely light red with no long dry aged bit. The beef was a mix bread can’t remember what they said but was cracking.

Well priced and before the coast road. Bring your cooler. You won’t find better meat on the coast road

A small but lovely area for all age groups. My children loved the petting zoo and play area while my wife loved the scented products on offer. We enjoyed a delicious meal and spent hours having fun with the kids in the park.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Will come back later in the year when the lavender is out. Shop great.
A shame that the café was only taking cash as we just had to buy enough with the cash we had. A big miss out at a weekend.

Amazing place to visit and so much to see and do, the garden centre area is very nicely set out with a great range of different lavender plants ranging from affordable prices for the small plants and more expensive price tags on the bigger items. The wooden gifts and signs in the garden centre would make a great gift for any home.

The main gift shop is very nice and have a wide range of products at affordable prices to suit all gifting needs. The food selection is very good and plenty of chose in regards to everything lavender flavored.

Very impressive buildings and i would highly recommend a visit to this local attraction.

Beautiful collection of lavenders a huge beautiful garden and garden centre. For kids there is also an animal park and it's dog walkers friendly. There is a store to buy lavender products also and across the street if you go next to Lidl there is a huge field of lavender. It is a national collection I attached some info also. Definitely a must see in Norfolk .

If you love lavender then this is the place for you. See it growing, drink it in your tea, sprinkled on top of your cake, buy the gin, the fudge, the scent and the plants.
The restaurant is very quick and efficient and the food is very good.

But if you don't like lavender... :-)
