Visited this pub for breakfast, was not disappointed.
Cereal,fruit,pastries if required. Unlimited toast,tea/ coffee followed by a brilliant full English that was superb. All for £9.99.
Great value plus table service NOT a buffet style breakfast.

We had a wake held here following a funeral. Excellent service and value for money. Would definitely recommend. The food offering had something for everyone and was great. Provided drinks too in the price which lots of other places didnt

Great food, especially the carvery. Great value for money. And all staff we have dealt with are happy, helpful and a good laugh. Been a few times now and look forward to going back

Visited this pub as a meeting place for our Nans funeral. And re attended for the wake after.
Although the lady on the bar was on her own and there were alot of us that turned up unannounced, we were served fairly quickly and the food was amazing.
Would highly recommend to friends and family. Will definitely be returning in the future 👍

We used bowling green on Thursday 17th August at around 2pm and it was 1st class, food was excellent & I don't know names of staff were but they were very nice..so will be using bowling green next time we are in weeley.

Nice relax place with polite staff the decor is a bit old but homely and it started it's new menu today 21/11/19 so the budget menu is separate to the main menu

Usually have a problem with staffing and gets very busy being opposit a crematorium
Never had a bad a meal

Went here for a buffet breakfast and, as always, wasn't disappointed. It's mainstay of our holidays in Clacton, always in the first morning and is looked forward to almost as much as the holiday itself!

Food is always good and the hot buffet items freshly cooked. Sometimes a bit of a queue for the hot food and the coffee machine is a little slow but they're both worth waiting for so not worth stressing over.

Good value as kids have breakfast for free. If you make the most of it you'll not need lunch so win win!

4 of us had our evening meal there. Meal was absolutely top notch, as was the service and atmosphere.
Have no hesitation what so ever in recommending this place to future customers.

Very nice place adjacent to the Premier Inn. Very friendly and efficient staff. Our waitress Rosie (I think) was great. She took our orders (5 of us) without writing anything down and everything was exactly as we'd asked even with people wanting changes to the standard menu (sweet potato fries instead of chips etc ). Very impressed. Breakfast was also very good with the food being replaced very quickly before it got too low so was always nice and hot. Vegetarian options were cooked on request but came out very quickly.. We're unlikely to go there again but that's the Premier Inn's fault, not the restaurant, but that's a different review...
