I was wondering is the Manod a guest house 🏠. As when I lived in Blaenau the Manod and Merion ran by Maggie Jane my dad's cousin was my dad's local. I left Bkaenau at 16 jound the Army I now live in Canada my brother still lives in Blaenau

Very nice little pub. Locals are welcoming and friendly. went to buy a bottle of water as everything around was closed at 11.00 pm but glad i stooped here as i came out of pub with smiles … :)

Lovely staff and landlord who has looked after us all week!
Cheap beer! ( compared to Midland and London prices we had a pint San Miguel for 3.50, bargain!)

We made mates with local lads who are a real laugh 😄.

Pub of choice for our week long getaway. Owner and Bar Manager were both really good craic, and full of suggestions and recommendations for both drinks and the local area.

Just returned from a few nights in Blaenau Ffestiniog. We had a lovely welcome from the landlady and regulars in there. Very friendly and helpful in regards to the local area. The children enjoyed the free sweets! Would definitely recommend the Manod Hotel

We were on a 3 peaks challenge and stayed in the town for the night. Having gone to another pub in the area we were recommended by a regular to try this place, and boy, we were so glad we did. The Land Lord and Land lady were sooooo lovely as well as all the regulars. Being from London and of Indian decent we thought we might get a cold receoption, how far wrong we were. Everyone was warm and embrassing. The most amazing thing was this place was recently taken over by the current owners, who themselves are English they have engaged with the community with such great depth that and have so lovingly restored this place with such passion and pride that it really shines through.
On the day there was a pub quiz going on, we had intended to leave after an hour but had such fun that we were the last to leave!!!!
Oh and we were last in the quiz!!!

We were made to feel very welcome, it's lovely and clean, staff were very impressive as they remembered what you were drinking each time you went to the bar. Would recommend this hotel to any one visiting the area .
