The restaurant on the ground floor is well worth a visit. Exquisite seafood. Recommended.

Stayed for most of a week that we spent exploring North Wales. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the room (superior king sized) was huge, comfy, cosy and very nice. Its right over the road from the seafront and easy wandering distance from town. The view across the bay and out to sea was magnificent, we spent ages sitting in the comfy chairs in our room watching the sun go down over the sea. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. The ONLY downside was that their restaurant serving in the evening (which we knew when we booked) so we ordered take out a few times, however, even here the staff went above and beyond, opened the bar for us and got us cutlery/crockery to eat out take out in the restaurant area.

An absolute pleasure! Very welcoming staff, nothing too much trouble, outstanding room. Everything you could want for breakfast, very, very clean. Top service, really felt very looked after. Will definitely visit again, fabulous sea view. Went to see a show at venue cwmru, literally next door. Private car park so never had to worry about the car. Will be coming back for sure! x

Just come back from 3 nights here taking our elderly parents. We used the 2 disabled rooms. Rooms were spotlessly clean, all staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts lovely. The hotel is a little dated in places but that's some of its charm. We've booked again for April 2022 already and look forward to our next visit

The Cae Mor was recommended to us by friends so we decided on a quick, one night stay. I chose the superior room option as it was our anniversary.
I don’t normally do reviews but felt I had to on this occasion as nothing could be falted!
The room, the staff and the food were all excellent. Will definitely be returning and also recommending to friends.
Many thanks.

We had a 2 night stay here. The location was perfect, just opposite the beach and there is easy access to everything. The staff were very competent and friendly. Very good attention to detail and really lovely food in the restaurant. A great stay, thank you!

Just got back from a short stay at this hotel in Llandudno and cannot fault it. Was very warm, comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentative. Only had breakfast but this was lovely, plenty of choice and very tasty. Certainly set us up for a day walking up the Great Orme! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

With my wife about to start chemotherapy We needed a pick me up. The normal expensive hotel we use was booked up., so took a chance on this hotel . Wow it certainly represents excellent value for money. We have stayed in some very expensive hotels which do not offer a cooked breakfast of your choice. This does , plus a good offering of cereals and fruit etc. The room we had (8) had a view which is hard to beat anywhere . Just nice to sit and relax and people watch or simply look at the wonderful Llandudno bay.
The service throughout our stay was friendly and accommodating, again lacking these days in the larger hotel chains. The lounge and bar areas where lovely and the food very enjoyable. The room was very large and although showing signs of wear was clean and I believe excellent value for money.
I hope we can get to come back and enjoy this little gem of a hotel again.

Perfection in all areas.
We felt very privileged eating in this lovely hotel's new Restaurant on their first day of opening.
The owners take great pride in being visible at Front of House and interacting with the customers.
The food is exceptional, prepared by the very talented Chef: Paul Clifford. Remember that name because this young man's flare and expertise in the kitchen is superb.
The portion sizes are large and beautifully presented, with delicious flavours and fantastic value for money.
The ambience and layout of the restaurant is beautiful, with stunning chandeliers creating a delightful atmosphere.
The tables are positioned so that the diner can view the sea from wherever they are sitting.
Overall, I will most definitely be visiting here again and have booked to stay at the Hotel in April.
Top marks to this establishment. They deserve positive recognition for all their hard work and attention to detail.

Best wishes

My wife and I had a good deal from Best Western, 3 nights for the price of 2, from 19.12.21, presumably driven by the Covid downturn in business. It had good reviews for a 3 star hotel and deservedly so. We were given a free upgrade to a (side) sea view room (room 4) on the 1st floor. It was large, clean, well kitted out with kettle and hot drink facilities, hairdryer and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space.
The bed was extremely comfortable, with good quality bedding.

Breakfasts at hotels are one of the 'treats' for me and we were treated to a wonderful breakfast at Cae Mor. There was the usual choice of fruit juices and mixed tinned and fresh fruits, croissants, white or whole meal toast, cereals and porridge. Cooked options included the best kippers I have ever had, and any mix of smoked salmon, muffins, eggs any way you like, as well as whatever you might like from a "full Welsh" option. It was all cooked and presented perfectly and the tea and coffee were kept flowing by the very professional, courteous and personable staff.

The bathroom was clean and had a great combination shower with both hand-held and rain-shower heads. Toiletries were supplied.

The sea front location was good for us as a fully ambulant early 60s couple. I mention that only because it is a few minutes walk from the 'pier end' of town. It is next door to the Welsh Theatre, which would be super handy if taking in a show there. Everywhere in Llandudno is within walking distance, though, and on the flat (till you circumnavigate the Great Orme which is a lovely walk). Access for wheelchairs to and from the large carpark and hotel building seemed very good.

A one way system and mask wearing were in operation to minimise Covid risks. There is a bar with a selection of bottled beers but understandably no draught ales as they'd not sell sufficient quantities.

All in all, this is an excellent 3 star hotel and I'd have no qualms at returning any time if we're up that way from south Birmingham.

I can't help with reviews of the better restaurants as we used the Palladium (Wetherspoon great value as ever), Queen Victoria (proper pub with good food) and The Albert (very good pub restaurant) as I love pubs.

Nice hotel, some confusion the first night so we didn't get the superior room we'd booked, this was rectified when I raised it the next morning. Lovely breakfast. Good sized car park.

Stayed recently and had a lovely bedroom, clean, good TV lovely sea view too. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great location next to the conference centre and theatre and opposite the sea. Breakfast great, dinner in the Samphire restaurant in the hotel was great food, good value and flavoursome food. Highly recommend both Hotel stay and dining in the restaurant.

Just had a really lovely stay here - it's conveniently just a minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute walk into the town. When TV in the first room didn't work, they kindly moved us to a larger room with a working TV and a sea view! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. When I asked if any non dairy milk was available at breakfast, they went out of their way to get in my usual at home. Breakfast is very versatile with vegan, veggie, pescitarian and full English options, as well as a small variety of continental choices. Would definitely come back and recommend to a friend!

What a lovely hotel, just a shame we only had one night. Food was delicious, both evening meal and breakfast. Staff were charming, as were the owners whom we met at breakfast. We will certainly be going back
