Absolutely brilliant vegan restaurant with some fab merchandise! So many different and delicious options. Staff really helpful. Plenty of gluten free choice too. And Puddings were off the scale (biscoff sandwich in the shape of a sandwich!!!!). Highly recommend if within 2 hours drive!!

Fantastic, quick, attentive service, a great selection - of very delicious food!

Give the ‘wings a try’!

Impressed with the kids nuggets too! He ate them all up without a fuss!

Will definitely be returning, to try some other dishes!

Love this place! found it by fluke whilst looking for non mainstream eateries - it did not disappoint and it was worth the 45 miles drive in each direction to eat here! will return whenever in the area - this place needs to be in business and supported. As a meat eater, i endorse this vegan venue as the food and service was first class!

Also i ate the biggest onion ring i have see in this place!

My second visit and both times excellent food. Open late on Saturday. Buddha bowl delicious and very filling. Next time I will have to try some of their vegan puddings complete with oat custard. A bit far from me, but it is well worth the trip. Earl Gray tea in a proper little teapot that does not spill while pouring.

100% vegan and dog friendly. Fabulous cafe/restaurant for vegans and omnivores. More than lived up to our expectations- so many different options, portions are huge, food full of flavour and prepared with so much passion and care. You wouldn’t know it’s vegan. It was lovely to see some top rated ethical suppliers they work with too - denzel, karma cola, Drop bear beer etc. Highly recommend. Oh and don’t forget the cakes - cheezcake was to die for! 😋

Food was incredible and the staff were very friendly! Anyone debating whether to make the trip to this place, do it, you won't regret it. We had the best food of our holiday here. Bonus points for being dog friendly!

Cannot recommend enough. I am vegan and when planning my trip to this area (camping for 3 days) I prepped and packed all my own food as I know it can be tricky to find vegan meals in more remote areas. The menu for Eating Gorilla was displayed in the campsite. I have been here every day of my stay - everything is homemade, there is delicious choice (some tofu, some meat replacement, some whole foods), drinks, cakes, pastries. I can't get over it. Even the brand is fantastic, with a range of local vegan products (such as soaps) for sale, and t shirts for sale which raises money for a gorilla foundation. I love this place so much, food was incredible, staff are delightful. I will be back every time I visit Wales. It is not often you find somewhere that you utterly feel at home, and completely in line. I didn't have my dog with my this trip, but, its dog friendly. Seriously, what more could you want. As mentioned I visited on my own and spent a couple of hours there each day, reading etc (to avoid the storms!) And was made totally comfortable. Thank you for creating such a beautiful haven.

The Eating Gorilla is one of the best places I've ever had the privilege to eat at! The food is just delicious and clearly prepared with so much care and attention. The menu is really well crafted - there's something for everyone - and I would have happily tried everything!

We ended up having buddha bowls, which were fantastic. Healthy, but so delicious and a very generous portion. The kombucha was the best I've ever tried too.

We also had the chocolate torte and the white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake. We both agreed that they were some of the most delicious food we've ever eaten! We left very happy, very full and with some lovely bara brith to enjoy later.

All the staff are lovely, helpful and really friendly.

We loved it and will hopefully return to the area so that we can stop by again in the future. I highly recommend making a trip to The Eating Gorilla!

Stopped off for lunch on a bus trip to Bangor from Machynlleth and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambience and chatted with the friendly staff. 2 smoothies, a Buddha Bowl and Pea and mint soup along with Bara Brith cake (VG) and chocolate coconut flapjack. Delicious, colourful and healthy. We recommend a visit. They have been going strong for 4 years. Thank you.

Delicious! Nice big busy cafe with excellent options. Lots of non vegans eating the vegan food! Cold hot chocolate absolutely needed in this heat.

Delicious, hearty food. Vegan fare at its best. Buddha bowl for me and Mushroom Stroganoff for hubby, with a side of fries.
The Stroganoff was amazing, but as a couple of gluten free bods, hubby missed out on the accompanying roll. The staff were brilliant and did their best with a sourdough roll (my hubby is happy to eat sourdough if GF isn't available) but the sourdough wasn't as good as the rest of the food - completely okay anywhere else but the standard was so high, I felt this was a bit of a let down.
Anyway, moan over. This is an oasis of deliciousness. You should definitely visit.
I had a fantastic green smoothy - it was yummy 😋

Just WOW!! Delicious. Really glad we searched online and found you before coming on holiday. More than perfect ! The burger was the best we've ever had and the Southern fried chicken was really tasty. Loved that we could get it as a take out.
We may change our plans this week so we can return to try other dishes.
Thank you

Yummy!

Excellent veg options, and great tasting food (says an Indian)

On tour of North Wales I came across this cafe. The options and portions were great. The milkshake was soothing for the hot afternoon.

I just loved the cauliflower wings with hot sauce and the house dip was too good.

Will definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Once again the food was incredible - we forgot to pick up our cakes on a previous visit but the staff saved them for us hoping we would return, so glad we did. The cakes tasted so good I can't believe they are vegan. Thanks, @wearekingingit. For the recommendation.

Absolutely outstanding find! Friendly staff, good prices and phenomenally tasty food. This will definitely be an annual visit on our Wales holidays, already can't wait to return!

I had the cornish style pastie with a portion of the cauliflower wings with buffalo sauce (hot hot hot!), and a chai tea. Everything was incredible, well done to the team!

I've lived nearby for 6 years and this was my first visit. I was blown away by the food; it was absolutely amazing. My husband is vegan and i eat a lot of vegan food, but this was a level above anything else I've had. The staff were so lovely and this is such a gem. Also, the cocktails are delicious!
