Garreg Goch Caravan Park

What a great find. Lovely friendly site with excellent toilet and shower facilities. Easy access to local amenities and quick safe walk to beach.
Freshly baked pastries available everyday if ordered the night before. They were delicious. Lots of useful information available from reception and basics available at the campsite shop. We had a great few days in our small Campervan.

Overnight stay in our campervan - friendly welcome, given a nice hard-standing space right next to a new, very clean shower block. Only a short walk to a big sandy beach, and you can hear the sound of the sea from the site which is nice.

Overall, a perfect spot for our overnight stay. Only thing I'd mention is there are rabbits *everywhere*, no problem for humans, but if you're bringing your dog you might want to bear this in mind!

We enjoyed a relaxed Easter bank holiday in a pet friendly caravan. It was our first stay here and it won’t be our last - we have already rebooked. It exceeded all our expectations and was pleasantly surprised to find our caravan had the added feature of a gated decking area with table and chairs. The caravan was spotless and the park was quiet and friendly, and within walking distance to Black Rock Sands. The dog welcome pack was a nice added touch upon arrival. Special mention and thank you Eloise for your warm welcome during our stay.

If you want peace and quiet, and a relaxing holiday then this is paradise, a nice short walk to a fantastic beach. Rabbits everywhere bliss!! the sound of nature is everywhere. If you want pubs and clubs then this isn't the place for you. Tranquil relaxing bliss is what you get here. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Fresh bread available when pre-ordered, for the following morning. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will get back soon.

Small shop with really friendly staff. Small playpark for younger kids.
No 'facilities' like the much larger Haven site next door, but WAAAAAAY more competitively priced!!!
Altogether, if you can doo without the amusement arcade and nighttime entertainment - this is by FAR the better park!

Very quiet roughly 15 mins walk to beach not recommended for the walk to beach with wheelchair has the path is very narrow and uneven but you can go to the beach in a car and park on beach for £ 5 .00 for the full day the caravan park has a kids playground it has a climbing frame swings and monkey bars and a item made from tyres ,chains and wood don't no the name of it you cannot have a gazebo but you can have a barbecue no fires unless in a chimera julie the girl at the desk is very helpful they have a small shop selling baked bread daily a few different bottles of hp /ketchup that sort of thing ice lollies some beach items but you are allowed to borrow the videos and board games when we got there we were told and on the booking it said pitch 12 but someone decided to take are pitch we were told then to go to pitch 10 why cant people uphold the rules when you are given a pitch number stick to it the other thing there were other kids there from the age of 10 roughly to 14 who were not very nice to my grandchild who is 4 ,1/2 years of age they were throwing the swings over the bars and my grand child wanted to play were the swings are and was insulted by the older girls there is supposed to be a warden we could of told the warden if we had seen him/her. we were there for 2,1/2 days and we never saw him /her.but apart from that we didn't let it spoil our couple days the park is quite when the older kids went home around 8,pm there is showers and a toilet in there but not much more

Absolutely loved garreg goch caravan park it's a nice small site with fantastic views there is a beautiful beach about a five minute walk away but you can also drive onto the beach, the site is so peaceful the kids can go to the park and you can still keep your eye on them which was brill! We rented a a caravan which was immaculate with loads of space, Will definitely be back here again. There is also lots to see and do close by Portmeirion is only a 10 minute drive away too.

Quiet and peaceful with spotless shower/toilet rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy access to a stunning beach and coastal paths. Will definitely put this place on our list of favourites and be back for another relaxing stay

Stayed at Garreg Goch for week from 4th July 2016. Lovely park, well looked after. Static we stayed in was superb, immaculate and very comfortable. Manager, Craig was friendly and helpful. Internet, because of location has some limitations, but sufficient for normal use. Walking distance from beach. Fantastic countryside around and loads of places to go and things to do. Ideal base for any type of holiday. Thank you.

Nice park. No clubhouse,so nice and quiet. Staff very helpful and friendly. Small shop selling bread. Surprisingly the have loads of videos and games on a borrow and return basis, no charge at all. Small playground for the little ones.

Loved this location. Quick 5 minutes walk and on the long beach. Peaceful location and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again. Portmadoc 5 mins in the car plenty of places to eat and large supermarkets.

Lovely little park, been a couple of times now. Very well kept, lovely staff. Quiet, within walking distance of the beach. Chippy and a small shop down the road.

Family friendly, superb facilities, modern static caravans to rent at competitive prices, with special statics for people with disabilities or even some pets. Very close to the beach too and good transport links to porthmadog and pwllheli.

Quiet site out of season with plenty of green landscaping. Very helpful staff. Good proximity to local facilities and those in Porthmadog.
