Wow ! Simply wow ! Seriously read on if you want a tasty, wholesome, homemade and fabulous meal in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere! We’ve paid a LOT MORE for meals and not been as happy as dining here! Great home-cooked, tasty fooder and plentiful plate of grub! Honestly, food (and team!) here beats everywhere locally hands-down!

The best roast Sunday lunch I've had in years. Beautifully presented and excellently prepared. Great value and generous portions. Sadly, there was no real ale today, so I had to have Madri that specialist (yuck) Spanish beer brewed in Warrington. Worth a visit this place!

We were very happy we found the Ship Inn on our holiday to Porthmadog. We ate here twice and had great meals both times.
The best pub food we’ve had in a long time, it’s a pity it’s so far from home!
Would recommend booking as can get busy!
We will definitely return when we’re next in the area.

Have got to say it was probably the best pub grub we've ever had. We had burgers the lasagne and steak pie which had enough veg to feed an army..... ❤

Great traditional pub. Recommend the steak pie and fish pie. All homemade and served with fresh vegetables. Tasted fantastic. Jam sponge pudding with custard is also delicious.

Called and reserved a table. I'm glad I did this pub, obviously very popular with locals and very busy. The food at this venue is absolutely fantastic. The staff at the venue were welcoming and friendly. There was a wait for the food to arrive but well presented and full of flavour. On street parking is hard to find, but there is a pay and display at the rear of the premises.

Fantastic pub, went out of their way to get us in for Sunday Lunch & the food was amazing. Friendly & welcoming staff who made us feel more than welcome. Would defiantly recommend to anyone passing through Porthmadog. Thank you to all the staff for a great Sunday lunch & friendly chat.

Had a lovely steak and ale pie with chips and veg. Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. It was quiet when we arrived but soon filled up. Would recommend

We were on holiday in Portmeirion and decided to visit the Ship on the Saturday night.
Luckily we had booked a fortnight or so beforehand
Wow we certainly made the right decision, the place was packed, the atmosphere was superb and the food ?
That was the best we have had for a long long time.9

We had the Sunday roast. We were given large portions of meat and ample veg.

Massive portions served with love.
We ordered burger with chicken topping, and lamb steak. Very tasty food. Really nice staff too. Must visit. 🏅🏅🏅

Very nice pub. Took our dogs in and had a warm welcome from the landlady. Had three lovely meals. Sadly it looked so good we all eat it first before I took pictures. The empty plates say it all

Probably one of the best kept pubs i’ve been to, great selection of pints, madri, neck oil and this cruzcampo. Staff are super welcoming, support this pub when coming to Porth!
