Great little pub. We stopped for a quick pint before the Bombay sapphire tour. Then popped back in after for lunch. Very welcoming people. Good Guinness.

The food is awesome! Breakfast, Sunday roast, and dessert! Yum! 😋

A short stop for liquid refreshment whilst on bike ride, but excellent outside seating with cover if needed. Great local beer. Quaint inside meals being served but I didn't try them.

This pub is amazing. The owners are friendly and very accommodating. Nice range of drinks and not stupid prices either. Easy to find and a must if you are in the area!!

Well worth the wait. Absolutely amazing food will try out best to come back if we are ever in the area again.

We didn't book and managed to get food on a Sunday. Yes it took quite a while (over an hour) but I'd do it again for another taste of that duck lasagna

Went to see a comedian last night with a friend at the Red Lion. The acts were great and we had a right laugh. At £8 a ticket it was a bargain!!! Whilst we were there we both had a burger. The food was great and a nice size portion. The service was also really good. Overall couldn’t fault it. Well done to everyone on the team. Fab night out 👌
Great food. David and Victoria are excellent host's. At long last we have got our village pub back

Called in for food and drinks over a few hours on a Saturday evening, whilst playing a few card games we'd brought. Plenty of space in the late afternoon so we had a decent table to play at. There's a good selection of drinks, a very tasty range of food (we had the chicken pie and burger) and superb friendly service. We'll be back if we're in town again. Sorry no good food photos I'm afraid, not great at taking them!

Very enjoyable lunch. Nice burger and chips were delicious. Banana Split I would highly recommend very yummy! Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Did not eat here but sat for drinks in the back garden in the sun. Great little pub with reasonable prices and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome inside and out.

Wow! 2-4-1 burger night on a Thursday was just the ticket after our wine tasting session. They really know how to knock out a burger here. Beautifully cooked with all the trimmings. Will definitely be back.

The Lionheart (mead & ginger beer) is a drink of their own design and not found anywhere else. Give it a go!

Lovely local pub, friendly staff and regulars. Good choice of beers etc. Live music on Fridays, decent beer garden, and car parking.

I love travelling to Overton to be with friends at the Red Lion. Always a great music night on Fridays. The Beer is superb and the staff so welcoming. I’ve Know Victoria and David for many years now and they are superb Hosts. Always a great welcome at the Red Lion. Oh and I have a family connection to the place, my Dad used to care for the garden in the 1950s/60s. Yes thank Good ess for the 76 bus.

Beautiful delish Sunday roast… the best we have had for a long time… highly recommend and the service you can’t beat we were made to feel so welcome… thanks Victoria and David.

A family get-together of 8 + 1 child, and could not have gone better! All main courses were just as we wanted and hoped for-we were not let down! There was a wait as another table of four just happened to order a minute or so before us, but no problems with that. It is smaller than elsewhere in Overton, but that is a plus not a negative.
The landlady as well as the waitress both asked if all was well, which it was. Extensive range of gin on offer. Great choice of other alcoholic & non-alcoholic from our experience. Parking was not too bad & an off-road tarmac ed area well kept. Good clean toilets +table clean not sticky. Well Done!

Excellent food at very reasonable prices, well-served beer, friendly but not overbearing service and a busy "locals" atmosphere. The standard menu is fine but the specials board adds a lot. The food was clearly very fresh and cooked perfectly. Whether just going in for a beer, or a full meal this would take a lot to beat it.

We have hired the function room here on a number of occasions for family celebrations. The room is well set up for a group of around 20 - 30 to have a sit down meal or more if you have a buffet. The addition of the pub skittles for a small charge is great fun. We have found the food to be exceptional, both the set menu and the buffet are great and portion sizes are generous. With easy access to the pub across the car park for drinks etc and good parking it makes for an ideal venue
