Have been passing by this place many times and finally come in and regret not visiting earlier. Lots of onsite parking, indoor and outdoor seats, nice size of farm shop with everything you can expect from a farm shop and more. Have other shops beside the farm shop like a wine shop and a salon. Food was delicious and they were from the farm and local producers.

What an absolute gem of a farm shop and cafe. Swung by for a bite to eat and everything was spot on. Super friendly service, the food was tasty with many ingredients coming from the farm itself, hell even the mayonnaise was next level and all very reasonably priced.

I always try to find some things that can be improved on and this was tough....the onion rings could be served with some paper to soak up some of the excess oil, the flat white coffee was good but not great and maybe an all day breakfast option on the menu would be well received.

Now onto the shop, great offerings from the farm and surrounding area and the cheese room was superb and I very much enjoyed my cheesy chat with the staff, and picked up some excellent food for an upcoming BBQ. The cookery school looked next level good and I will be sure to check out the other shops on site the next time I visit.

Great farm shop with interesting local produce. A great bit is the Caviste wine shop. Has unusual (and delicious!) wines from all over the world. The staff know their stuff, and can guide you to wines that you will enjoy - just let them know the sort of wine you like and a guide price, and prepare to be delighted.

OMG, why have I not found this place before. It's fantastic. The produce is all local, and the meat selection is excellent. The cheese room is just fantastic. The produce is a tad expensive, but the quality makes it worth it. And to top it off, it has an excellent coffee shop that also serves hot meals serving their own produce 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great shop although I wouldn't use it for my weekly shopping unless I won the lottery! The restaurant was very busy but people were seated quickly, food arrived hot and within a reasonable time and was delicious. We will definitely come again.

We had a late breakfast here The restaurant was very busy, which I took as a good sign. The service was good. The food was very good value for money. Yes, I would recommend eating here. Next time we visit Hook, we will come here for lunch. Thank you.

The best cooked breakfasts! Lovely atmosphere and have the option to sit outside in the summer too. There’s also a play area outside for children.

A wonderful farm shop and cafe, such an extensive range and very high quality. Staff top deserve a mention, really went over and above in helping navigate the cafe and baby changing with a newborn

What a lovely farm shop and cafe.
We stopped off on our way on holiday and ate at the cafe. I had the Gladiator burger, which was the best burger eaten in a long, long time. My wife had the fish finger sandwich.
Excellent!
We also stopped off on the way home. A bit late for the cafe but the shop has a fantastic range of high quality produce. Meats, fish, bread, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, etc.

Oct 2023: We drive 7 miles to get to this place half a dozen times a year for lunch. The food is excellent and the service is always top drawer. The prices are rising - but they are everywhere! Highly recommended for lunch.

Lunch for 2 inc a 10% tip: £30

Very nice shop. Lots of individual suppliers, a real butcher and special cheese room. The Spirit Shop outside is amazing...

First visit in a few years and it didn't disappoint....nice to see fresh fish available and a butcher who's not affraid to display more than the normal basic cuts of meat....our reason to visit was the cafe and have to say that the service and quality of the food was superb....Will be back again soon.

A vast array of produce in the farm shop and a great range of "foodie" Christmas gifts. The café is clean and bright and the service was quite prompt seeing as it was busy when we visited. The superfood breakfast with avocado, heritage tomatoes and poached egg on sourdough toast was a delicious choice. It might be a good idea to book a table as the café is very popular

Great farm shop with stock showcasing the very best examples of local farm to fork food. Brought yellow-stickered fresh pheasant and my favourite charcoal biscuits on my last visit.

We love driving down just for a walk around and always get caught up with the Biltong and pie counter as well as the Cheese room. i would say definitely a lovely place to visit, some items are on the expensive side but I would say worth it.

I've visited Newlyns Farm Shop and Cafe several times and have always been happy with the food and service.

The shop and cafe are tucked away just off the M3 near Hook; there is plenty of parking, including a few disabled parking bays. It is popular it may be worth planning your visit.

It's the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat or shop for a meal. I've often met friends and colleagues here as it's halfway between our homes, making Newlyns super convenient. I've also stopped with my family to break up a long journey, so the kids can safely stretch their legs outside.

The cafe serves a full breakfast and lunch menu; they cater for children too. My favourite from their breakfast menu is the scrambled egg and salmon on farmhouse toast, served with a fresh cup of coffee. What a great start to the day.

I enjoyed a coronation chicken sandwich and their tasty crab rolls from the lunch menu. To drink, you can't go wrong with a refreshing ginger beer.

A bonus is that the shop is fully stocked with fantastic food; they have a butcher, a cheese room, a deli, a fish room and fresh fruit and veg.

I've always been more than satisfied with Newlyns Farm, and I'm sure you will be too. Well worth a visit.

Great cafe and shop. Excellent quality. Price matches the care and selection of produce. Cheese shop had a wide selection of cheeses and staff were knowledgeable about provenance and taste. Cafe has a good selection and it's well presented. Service was friendly and welcoming. Selection of deserts was a bit ordinary compared to the selection of goodies in the shop. Nice circular walk nearby.
