Bike packing the South downs way, arrived with everything covered in mud and a hose swiftly appeared! Excellent shower/toilet rooms. Tea, coffe, milk, kettle and microwave + mugs, bowls etc all there in a kitchen room as well. What's not to like! And a decent pub 10 min walk away

I stayed here for the second time with my girlfriends and we had a wonderful stay.
Lin and Pete are incredibly accommodating and can't do enough for you. The field is well maintained and we have always feel we have lots of space which is so lovely.
The facilities are brilliant and very set up for walkers.
I will be back again! Thank you

This campsite is on the South Downs Way. I met Pete and Lyn the owners - absolutely lovely people.

They have the usual facilities but they also have a campers kitchen which was stocked with coffee, teabags. They include plates, cups, knives and forks.

Lyn showed us the take away menu from the local Indian restaurant for those of us who did not want to cook.

She then told us that if we were short any item she may have it for sale, I needed Compeed blister plasters which she had, her list included towels, laces, cups and several more.

They have several fold up chairs that you can bring out if you want to sit by your tent.

About 8, Pete came out and told myself and the other camper that it might be cold during the night and asked if we’d like some fleece blankets.

What a lovely, convenient campsite! We stayed here for two nights whilst exploring the area - there's some obviously good walks around and the campsite entrance is literally on the south downs way. Lin and Pete were very friendly and welcoming and they've done an excellent job making this place a walker's paradise! There's everything you'd need to fuel up and rest, plus the shower is just perfect 👌 the facilities are spotless and there's some lovely sunset views. And the pubs nearby are also worth a visit! Will definitely be back. Just note, if you are a light sleeper, it is by a (not very busy) road so if you need them, pack some ear plugs (I slept fine).

This campsite is run by a lovely couple turned up on Sunday 4th Sept. Lovely shower even set a washing line up for me to wash my clothes, was then hit by a storm and torrential rain at midnight, the lady then came out at 1am to check I was ok with fresh blankets and let me stay in kitchen area as my tent was soaked, Had a nice chat in the morning with some very helpful advice for the next time a tackle the south downs way. Riverside cafe/Rest just down the hill by station is a excellent place for breakfast/lunch

- Kitchen room with microwave, kettle and fridge and stocked with tea and coffee
- Useful items such as washing lines and pegs
- Shop with essential hiking gear
- Right on the South Downs Way path

Perfect midway stop after a demanding section of the South Downs way from Winchester to Eastbourne. After Holding farm where I started then Manor farm (super basic ) this campsite especially the owners welcomed me into a large taken care of piece of land (grass short and well looked after) with a lovely indoor seated area for four and a bench with tea and coffee and Indian take away delivery option 😋with beer 🍺 hot showers aaaannd Epsom salt in a foot bath awww also a chance to pick up those vital things you might need. My iPhone charging cable broke and they had them for sale £4.50 wow back on the trail.
These guys have spent a lot of time listening to what you Walkers and cyclists need and provide a basic but very well done sanctuary to make you feel human and go on your way. Very happy I stayed here ✅✅✅✅✅ you will be too 🧘‍♂🥰

Fantastic campsite! Toilets, showers and washing up area clean and well equipped plus a camp kitchen with microwave and toaster plus place to charge phones. Lin and Pete are so welcoming and helpful too. The Bridge Inn is walking distance and was delicious. Amberley Museum is also walking distance and we had a great day there.

What a gem of a campsite, Lin and Pete have thought of everything including a well equipped camp kitchen and lovely showers. Beautiful walks close by. There is a road next to the site but that didn't bother us.

Camped overnight when walking the South Downs Way. Lovely site right next to the path, great facilities for backpackers. Friendly and helpful hosts even provided towels for the shower! The loos/shower and camper's kitchen were all scrupulously clean and in excellent condition. Would definitely stay there again.

After a long day in the saddle, riding from Winchester along the South Downs Way, Peter and Lin, greeted us with a warm welcome and then showed us around their amazing site. With super clean toilets, powerful showers and a fantastic camp kitchen, with not only a kettle, fridge, toaster, dining table and chairs, but also stocked with tea, coffee, milk and sugar!

The site is on a slight hill, but there are flat pithes to be found and it's situated next to a road, although it wasn't busy at night and I always take ear plugs when camping, so I slept really well and can't wait to return soon.

Further on our journey we met a couple who had also stayed at Foxleigh Barn Camping and also thoroughly enjoyed their stay ...what more can you say, lovely site run by lovely people!

A lovely place to stay. We stayed in the self catering annex next to the main barn for a long Friday to Monday weekend.

A very nice, clean and pleasent place to stay, with probably the best cooker we have come across in any self catering accommodation ever.

The owners Pete and Lin were the perfect hosts, very friendly, welcoming and approachable.

The complex is on the main road and a lot of cars go past, but the road noise is never an issue and only really hear it if you stop and try to listen for it.

Lots to do nearby, the village is a ten minute stroll with a good shop, tea room and nice pottery. Further afield is Petworth House, and other little villages and of course there is the stunning South Downs to explore, we even found the remains of an old WWII tank a few miles East of the barn.

All in all a very pleased and comfortable place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Foxleigh Barn, it was well equipped really clean and comfortable, in a beautiful location. Lin was really helpful during our stay and gave us lots of ideas for places to go in the local area. We'd definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Wonderful site on the South Downs Way. The hosts have thought of everything - shower gel, washing up liquid, tea towels, hand sanitiser, fridge, microwave, kettle, chairs, undercover seating etc.

Lovely circular walk into Amberly Village - great tea room, village shop, pub, and pottery! Also in walking distance to two other coal pubs and a cafe for breakfast.

In walking distance from Amberly Station and Museum.

What a lovely place! The building was spectacular, and the proprietors were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was great - clean, comfortable and a wonderful bathroom. Just a short walk to a pub one way and the village of Amberley the other way. Good access to the South Downs Way (which we were walking).

Owners were lovely, facilities were spot on. We messed the owners about a bit by turning up late so make sure you get there as advised and keep them updated if you are running late. Would stay again, perfect for South Downs Way hikers or cyclists!

My sisters and I stayed here while hiking the South Downs Way. Pete and Lin couldn't have been nicer hosts, making us feel very welcome. It was almost like being home with Mom and Dad they were so very kind. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean and the food was delicious. They also recommended the Bridge Inn for dinner which was a wonderful choice. Would stay here again without question.
