Eastgate Shopping Centre

I cannot comments too much as I have only visited at the moment due to attending dental appointments. I have also used the MacDonald on the 1st floor.

But from what I have seen and tried:
(1) Car park access is good and wide
(2) lots of parking spaces and seemed properly lit every time I went there.
(3) paying car park: the yellow tokens have now disappeared. This is now automatic through cameras recording your number plate. Don't forget to pay at pay machine on each floor before leaving. Screen touch sensitive and if not work go to other side.

(4) lots of shops (various) and facilities

(5) on the outside there are coffee shop Costa and banks and etc

All good from my point of view.

Amazing place, always has been. It was much better in the late 80's. The place was outstanding and full with great shops!!! Remember those??

Eclectic mix of shops and places to eat in town centre. Shopping mall, theatre, bus station and railway station all nearby. German food and drink stalls there over Christmas period.
Extensive upgrading of area planned with cinema but problems in development are apparent.

The members of staff are massively helpful thay ask how's your day and stop kids being up to know good on a day to day.. The staff and crew are fantastic.. 5⭐'s All the way..

Fashions perfumes lots of shopping
What not you can get everything with in single place
1day is not enough to cover entire shopping mall

Eastgate cente has changed qlot over the years but one thing that hasn't changed is the iconic fountain on the second floor, for me there is qlot of nostalgia and fond memories from my childhood. There is always something for families every half term, usually activities and various performance artists each is all completely free of charge. The shops have stayed consistent and always clean and tidy throughout.

We have all basic need shopping center from high range to medium range price shop. We can spend entire day over there with our family 👪. Good time pass 😊

Loved it, I go early enjoy the space lots of choices, find Basildonians quite friendly folk ,I'm glad snobs do not like basildon, as it keeps them Out ! Also free parking for 2hours in Asdas carpark enjoy my shopping even more..

I absolutely love this shopping center! It has a great variety of stores to choose from, and the layout is well-designed. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. I always find what I'm looking for here, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!"

It’s shopping, nice and clean, easy to park

Big shopping centre with a lot of parking, good range of shops too

The post office was really busy with only 1 person working they need to get extra staff and don't buy your cards from there as no envelopes with the cards

Bustling shopping centre in a busy town, much of the same as you would see in any other equivalent shopping centre of this size. Plenty of empty shops but again, that's not unusual either in 2023 Britain.

Great place in Basildon, worth visiting though some shops have closed down...

It's a nice little mall really, nicely set out a few nice shops. Everything you need in life really. I liked the parking! 3 hours free, or pay if you been there longer.

Only had a coffee there,but plenty of shops,
fairly quite.

Best shopping centre in Essex has alot of normal shops not all designer expensive shops like most towns definitely recommend to anyone 😁👍🏻

Lovely quiet town. Friendly staff everywhere.
